Gripe of the Day...

It's Friday!!!!!! Get your gripes out there before the weekend. You know the rules. NO names from the board. Get to it!!

OMG!  Is it Friday already.  Lounging around in a hospital high on pain meds tends to make you lose track of time.

Gripe of the day:

Isopure Clear Liquid Protein drinks.  I'm getting them down but the after-taste sucks rather big.

Wow.  That's my only gripe that is bugging me.  Too cool

it seems like every time after i eat something i have a yucky taste in my mouth, is this something that comes with the surgery?

Hi Nicole, it could be an after effect of the anesthesia, or it could be ketosis from the weightloss. It goes away eventually. =)

gosh I hope it goes away! Since we arent allowed to chew gum anymore, are we allowed sugar-free mints??

I've done the sf mints with no problems.

It's probably the ketosis and it will go away! When I was newly preop things I drank had a rotten egg aftertaste and it was NASTY!!!!  
I do and always have done gum, even though we aren't suppose to. The reason my surgeon gave for not chewing it is because if you swallow it...   Well, the last time I swallowed gum was when I was a kid and swallowed it on purpose! lol   I LOVE GUM!!!!

Here we go....

The lawn people making so much noise in the morning.
The hot cold is COLD!
I lost two TWO toe nails last night on a short 6 mile run??? WTF?
I forgot coffee yeterday, when that was one of the biggest reasons I went to the store to begin with.
My sister never keeps her word.
My back is "back" to being snotty this morning.
And last but not least, I have to work 3 - 12 hours shifts this weekend. No fun for me.

Thanx, now I feel much better.

Oh the the flaming idiots who layed the discusting tile floor in my house before we bought it.  They did it all wrong and made a huge mess and now it is take forever to get my new flooring in because we have to scrape the 3 inches of old crap off that they left with a chisel.  My new flooring should have been done on Labor day weekend, and now I am looking at maybe October sometime.  This is aweful, but I am going to keep plugging on.
