Tomorrow is surgery and I'm constipated!!!

Will this be a a problem?  Or can I take something???

I'm on my lunch break now and can run out if necessary, lol

Didn't your doc give you instructions for cleaning out your bowels?? I had to take Milk of Magnesia the day before surgery.

Nope, just a dietary thing and the wipies......

You should call your doc's office to make sure.  I took my dose at about 10:30am the day before surgery,  then took a second dose about 7pm. Worked like a charm. Good luck! =)

I recommend calling your surgeons office. They're in the best position to tell you what you should or shouldn't be taking.

I've been on liquids for awhile now, with 1 small meal a day so pretty much liquids... and I think it was nerves that got me all bunched up, lol

He said it was ok to take MOM and I did.  And OH BOY!!  Had some serious action at the end of the day, thought I was going to have to spend the night at the office, lol!!

Everything is simmering down now and I'm having my broth, hee hee!!   

Oh boy so much to do!!!

 I have only heard of one other Surgeon that isn't doing a bowel cleanse and I don't believe it to be safe..too much can go wrong. I had to take a bottle of magnesium citrate...But at least I didn't have to worry as much about infestions and the like.
