Disneyland Half-Marathon Results
I got an email back from Disney re: my finish time and why it was not recorded:
I do not have a finish time recorded for you, since it appears that you finished after the timing system was shut down. We allow 3 hours and 30 minutes (plus the time it takes for the last person to cross the start line) to finish the half marathon and get a recorded finish time/certificate. Thus, the timing system was shut down at 3:58:00.
I won't receive a finisher's certificate. :( Oh, it's on now!!!! I'm running Long Beach!!!!!!

Well.....YOU can figure out your time! According to my official time and finish line photo's...it took 12 1/2 minutes for us to cross the start line. So...take your finish line photo minus 12 1/2 minutes and you've got your time. :-)
I'M IN TRAINING AND YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! http://apla.convio.net/site/TR/Events/NationalAIDSMarathonTrainingProgram-MARATHONONLY?px=1351601&pg=personal&fr_id=1050
Somewhere between 4:00 and 4:10....

Congrats on doing the Disney half marathon! I want to do it next year. I found out too late they were having but I did finish my first 5k and came in 3rd in my division. So what was it like? I had my surgery in December 2007 and I've lost 130 pounds. I've been running for over 4 months now and run everyother day at 4 miles. I can't wait to do the Disney run next year. And....good luck on the Long Beach run.
