I can't seem to find a good supportive sports bra in my size they are all so flimsy. I bought just a regular one at Target in extra large in the underwear dept but it really isn't made for a D size cup or should I say a plus size D cup. Help

Oh and can I just say I love to exercise now! Today I went on a 2hr hike with a friend and it was so wonderful!!!

You know for a good sports bra you're going to have to cough up some change.  There is a place in Monrovia or in that vicinity called the Creative Woman Wizard of Bras.  You can also google the Enell Sports Bras.  I am not sure where they sell them.  I had a friend that would wear 2.  I do not have to boob issue,  Had em but they left.

I swear by the Champion Sports Bra (the one with the adjustable velcro straps).  They sell them at most sporting good stores.  Be prepared...a good sports bra is gonna cost you some serious $$$ but it's worth it!

I second the Enell Sporting Bra.  They are expensive but worth it.  There is a place in Thousand Oaks called A Private Affair  http://www.aprivateaffair.com/ that sells them.

Hope that helps,

I am sorry but I read the header to this and I about fell out of my chair laughing.  Sports and bra just don't go together for me for some reason!  You see I have huge boobs.  If I ever thought of running my boobs would slap me in the face saying "what the heck do you think you are doing?  Are you out of your frigin mind? Take this,  no take that.  Swish whap.  I would have black and blue eyes!  lol.  I am hoping to trim down these babies in a year or so and maybe then I won't crack myself up with the words Sports Bra!  lol   Well now that I think of  it getting into some bras is kinda like a sport?  Thanks for letting me laugh for a moment.  it was fun.

I had the same problem, and was really hesitant to pay big bucks for one that would only fit for a short while.

I finally found some great Champion sports bras (w/flexible underwires no less) at Mervyns for about 20 bucks.  The first ones were 40D so I know they go at least that high.

Best of luck!

Thanks everyone for their replies . I'm only a little over a month out so I don't want to pay too much b/c it wont fit.

Thanks Cathy_C for the tip to buy the Champion sports bras at Mervyns I will have to go and check it out.

Lola, A Private Affair  is where I bought my bra for my wedding 12 yrs ago! Wow I didn't know the store was still there...thanks for the info
