Good morning everyone.  Not much going on here.  Just took my son to school and ran through starbucks for my nonfat latte.  Did you know they have oatmeal now... strange.. Anyway the weekend was good.  Got to meet up with someone from here.  Im trying to meet more Ohers and make new friends.  we have all been through the same things and its good to connect.  I look forward to meeting anyone coming to the coffee meet in October!!  Hugs, Jess

what a beautiful morning here in stockton,,, it's been so hot lately it's starting to cool down.. i didn't do much this weekend just kinda chilled.. i have alot of storage to go through but we'll see.i get to go grocery shopping yippy...well i hope everyone has a great day...

Good Morning Everyone:

I had a nice weekend. My son, his friend and my great nephew came up and visited on Saturday and yesterday I drove to Vacaville and went swimming with my daughter, granddaughter and grandson. Oh my grandson was just thrilled for me to see him swim and jump in the pool - he is 2 1/2 and 100% potty trained so had to go through his drawer and show me all his underwear - that's a big deal for a two year old, we had  real nice day.  Then I drove into the driveway at 6:00 pm. just in time to meet my trainer - so we worked with the horses and didn't get into the house until 8:30pm. My husband had dinner made.  The next thing I knew he was waking me up off the recliner saying to go to bed, that was at midnight.  I sure am glad I'm feeling back to normal.

Today we have to go pick out new roofing. That's not real exciting but once the outside of the house is finished it will be.

Good morning Janine and the Cali peeps!!!   I can’t believe how rested I am this morning. I had a wonderful and very productive weekend. We have been in the processes of remodeling and our newest project was a closet organizer. My DH built a beautiful organizer and I was so excited I was able to get everything back in there. Our guest room looks like a guest room again…Now off to the next project???   I plan on having a very nice week...I may take a trip over to the LA county fair one night after work. I love to walk around the exhibits. I have an OH support group meeting Wednesday night in Pasadena, which I love to go to…the people are great!!! But, I have also excited to the dinner on the 20^th. I look so forward meeting some new people. I know I couldn’t be where I am today with my weight loss with out this site and the people I have met so far.   Well, hope you all have a wonderful day!!!   Michele

Hello Everyone,

I had a good weekend.  It started with Bad Girls Knitting Night at Amano Yarn Center.  I left there early to meet with Greg.
Saturday, I went to work (OT) for 5 hours, then I went back to Amano.  Later I met with Greg.  Sunday, I stayed in most of the day because streets in my neighborhood were blocked off due to the L.A. Triathlon.  Later that evening I went for a 5.35 mi run.  My pace was a little slow (16:28).  Other than that, nothing.

Good Morning Janine and California!

Another quiet day of reading and exercise.  Happily the fog rolled in and it’s not beastly hot! 
I made a new recipe, Pumpkin Gelatin Pie, that I can keep down.  6g protein and it was a nice dessert.  The recipe is in my profile.  

I've got half my walking in already and am watching the NCIS marathon.  I usually walk while I watch TV so I expect to have more steps than usual today.

Good morning Janine and Cali!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I am recovering from TJ's (my son's) birthday party from the weekend- I had 28 kids!!! We had a pool party and I rented out the pool part of the Monterey Sports Center. I actually put on a bathing suit and went down the big water slide. I was never able to do that before and boy was it fun, fun, fun!

Janine, I can't wait to see the pictures that you took on Saturday. It was so much fun being with everyone.  I hope you have a great day at work. I know you must be tired, with starting the mural yesterday and being out in the heat.

The only thing on my agenda today is going to Ortho at Kaiser and talking the doc into letting me outta this wheelchair...lol As soon as I get home I will post an update.

Morning, Folks.  I had a low-key weekend.  My only accomplishment was doing the laundry.  Today the guys are back working on the kitchen/bath remodel.  The guy in charge had an accident on Wednesday (at someone else's house, thank goodness!) and ended up having to have surgery on his tear duct on Thursday.  So this is the first day they're back, as Michael wanted to be here to start some of the finishing work on the cabinets and the finishing plumbing.  Poor Michael - the week before his son fell off a ladder (it collapsed under him) and sprained his ankle, so that was another day with no one working, but luckily he didn't break anything.  Again, thankfully, this was at the other job site, not our house!

We just keep telling ourselves that it is going to be so beautiful when it is done...
