I forgot to set my alarm last night and overslept a bit this morning. Oops! Oh well, guess I didn't want the weekend to be over. Great weekend but now it's back to the grind.

Morning Janine and Cali folks! Hope you all had a great weekend. I'm up early this morning to go on my walk and get ready to go to storage!! YAY! FUN!.......NOT!! I have to tie up some loose ends before I start massage therapy school and getting rid of some crap in storage seems to be a good start.....have been intending to do it all summer, but it was always just so hot.....(notice my "legitimate" rationalizing....). So, anywho, then I'll be on to my other things on my "to do" list. I need to go to my GP this week and get a check-up, too. Fun, fun......Hope to get a little bit of pleasure reading in today, but I'm not sure how it will work out...we'll see! Hope everyone has a good day and stays cool. Morgen

I was a massage therapist for a few years, until the arthritis in my hands got too bad.  I loved it.  I found that it grounded me, even when I was feeling really stressed.  I hope you enjoy the school! -- Carol

Hey there. I was a massage therapist i***** but then I got sick and had to quit and just never went back to it. I really love it, too. I can't wait to start school.I really enjoy giving massage and I know what you mean about feeling grounded. I got that feeling most of the time, too. Any guinea pigs want to volunteer for practice sessions,lol :)

I guess that depends on how far you're willing to travel.  Come to San Jose, and you don't even have to bring your own table or linens... -- Carol

Hi there!! Yes I'm back in SD and I'm getting ready to start school. How's it going with you?

Oh, yeah...I also plan to get a recent pic up within the next week.....My friend has some good ones of me, but hasn't uploaded them on to her computer. She's already stuck in the SDSU graduate school/ teaching grind and I know i won't get them until christmas...lol. I'll have to take some new ones.......

The mural is looking good so far. As for all the work that goes into cutting and breaking and firing, ect.....you are much more patient than I ever could be!!!
Well, today is back to work. 8 hours sitting in a room, going over paperwork, watching videos and whatever else they do for orientation. This goes on all week. OYE!!! Wonder how they are going to take the fact that I have to leave early tomorrow? Oh well it is for the County so they can get mad I dont care!! Other than that and dinner with mom no other plans for the day.

Happy Monday to all and I truly hope you all have a great week.  I am pooped after "working" all weekend at the estate sale...but nice to have a little extra tax free cash in the wallet.

Today is pamper day for me - nails, toes and a neck massage to try to work out this kink in my neck and shoulder that I have had almost a week.

I am going to try to go to Soak City onSat and meet kim....any other OC locals want to go?

Then one day I am meeting an old work friend for lunch, but the rest of the week is pretty much home - house cleaning, laundry etc.  My house keeper had to cancel last friday cause her mom passed away so the house is a dirty mess - and its hard for me to do cause of my back and now this neck thing...oh well, gotta do what we gotta do.
