Hi Brian... nice hat!  I gave my son the option of me taking him to the mall tonight, but moms are embarassing so we are at home.  Anything fun going on in Belmont?  Im in San Jo.. Jess

Not too much tonight.  Going to bed early though, getting up to run 9 miles early tomorrow before it gets too warm.  So I'm eating some spaghetti to get in my carbs.

I'll be running the SJ Rock and Roll marathon on Oct 5th!

Yeah I heard some others on this board are in it too.  The course is near my house.. I got a community notice about road closings.  Yeah tell me about warm.  My hubby and I went to Chevys last night and sat on the patio and I was so hot.  Wow 9 miles thats a feat!!  I used to be a runner but not marathons... 10k races. Jess

10Ks are pretty impressive themselves, i've done 2 so far in preparation for the half.

Hi Jesse, I just got back from the picinic put on by Native Son of the Golden West. I am a member of Native Daughters. We auctioned a bunch of desserts. I made a Chocolate-Orange Truffle Cake it went for $21.00. So, it was worth the few minutes it took to make it. I hope the couple that bid and won enjoy it as much as I would have in my old life.

That picnic sounds fun.  I saw last night where you said you were smelling dessert ha ha.  At my house I had a 13 year old so he had me do up some cookies for him.  I didnt touch them but my nose had a feast.  What is Native Daughters??  Jess
