Good news. DH still has a job. He just won't have the best shifts or routes. Can't complain as at least he's still workin. WHEW!
Today is the usual WallyWorld, Albertsons errands then down to Santa Maria to pick up a re-string. hope I have the energy to survive the day. I think I have a cold. I hope it goes away soon, the week ahead is going to be busy.
Hope everyone enjoys coffee today! wish i could go meet everyone, it's just a bit far from the central coast.

Funny you should ask if we're doing the water park this weekend...we're in PS! LOL Got a burr in our pool Thursday and decided to check on Priceline for a deal on a room. So we drove up last night and hit the pool at the hotel. I think this hotel, Doral Desert Princess, was very nice at one time, and it still is, rooms are nice, clean, staff is very nice, pool is huge, and for $50 a night, no complaints from me. We even saw some flight attendants and some pilots checking in as we were. Anyhoo, going to grab some b'fast, hit a paperback book swap store that we found in La Quinta when we were here TWO weeks ago..lol And then head over to Soak City. I'll try to remember to ask them when they close and I can let you know. We're going to the Orange County one next week and have a big cabana to share if anyone is interested!!

smooch for me, ok? Be good and keep it under a 100 on the I-10!!

tha****er park sounds like so much fun....Ihaven't been to one since my sis and I took her kids when they were little (and I was a lot littler - well maybe not littler than I am now....) Anyhooo - where is the one in the OC that you are going to.....maybe I will join the fun.....that is if you don't mind....let me know the date, location and such...

I have been real sick with some kind of bug. Stomach fluish, weak. Man I gotta get my groove back. I am trying to prepare for my daughters party, I'm renting a canopy etc... I'm having and open bar, ****tail appetizers, buffet dinner and of course dancing that's on Sept. 27th. and then of course coming to Palm Springs on Oct. 9th (I'll PM you when it get's closer about getting together when we come to your part of Cali). I was going to surprise my husband but I told him yesterday and he was stoked. So this girl has got to pull herself up by her boot straps and get on with it.
Supposed to have my first fill this week, we shall see what the Doc says since my tummy is still funky and I don't feel like eating.

Janine- the tile pieces that you had shown us are just beautiful! I cannot wait to see the finished product. I know what you mean about giving that guy a swift kick. LOL. I am trying to be patient, but my name is not Job. LOL. His birthday is next weekend and I was thinking about cooking dinner at my place. We will see. No problem about the brain fart. We all have them.
I am at work now still helping with the clean -up and earning a little OT. I might go to the knit shop later. Tried to ride my bike to work this morning and was exhausted. I put the bike on the bus and came to work like that.
Tommorrow is the L.A. Triathilion (sp) so all of the streets will be closed off until this is over. So I might be home bound.
