Surgery is postponed

Till who knows when.  I swear, I'm THIS close to giving up.

I will be fired before I even get to the surgery so don't know which is worse?  No job or no surgery?  Hmmmm, well the surgery can't pay my mortgage can it?

Well, went to cardiologist today and of course he wants MORE TESTS, another freaking stress test and now I'm wearing this IPOD thing on my chest for 24 hours.  Of course I get the test nazi too.  I've never had a damn symptom of this thing and now they're holding me up, I'm so pissed.  Both of our time off is scheduled already, and it's hard for DH to get time off quickly, it has to be way in advance.  So now we're screwed there. And now I'm using all my PTO to run the hell up to USC all the time to do these damn tests.  Should have picked someone closer, but he was the best guy...

I'm just pissed.  Stupid heart ruined everything.

Me and my huge coldsore (from stressing) thank you for letting me vent.  I'm not looking for sympathy, cuz honestly it won't make me feel better.  What would make me feel better is not doing all this crap running up my insurance and let me have the damn surgery.  I've had another surgery and it wasn't an issue.  OH no, I've been "under" twice, NO three times.  ******s.

Ahh thanks Chris!

That dog is the apple of my eye!!!  I love love love him soo much!  He is just a regular chihuahua!  His mom was a larger sized chihuahua and his dad was one of the tiny little appleheads..  My dad saw an add in the Tracy Press we called..and we went and I fell in love!

He is such a good dog too.. isn't yippy or barky.. and he is soo friendly!

We want to breed him one day, becuase he's such a good dog, and a hadsome little fella, but we haven't found a female yet!

One day!!!!!

Ok, I am sorry that you are going thru all of this.  But, it would be nice to hear that you came thru surgery alive rather than dead (sorry for being so blunt).  I do understand all the frustrations that you are truly going thru.  The IPOD thing (aka holter monitor) will monitor your heart rate for 24 hours to see if you have any arrythmias ( irregular heart beats associated with your WPW).
I am not telling this to give you sympathy just to let you know that they truly do care about your outcome.
I wish you the best of luck in gettting this all resolved and that you come thru as a star that you deserve to be.

Oh I know it's for my own good, I'm not that dippy!  ;)

If my work were a little more understanding then, I'd be ok.  But it's the money aspect that is getting to me and the days off that the boss isn't happy about AT ALL.

The thing that bugs me is that this isn't a big deal, so they've all told me.  They're just trying to cover their asses for liability.  I don't have symptoms, I've gone under before and lived to tell about it but they're making this hoo-ha for nothing. At least that's how I see it.  That's what the Dr's and others have said, it's a common thing and most of the time you don't even know you have it.  Whatever.

Whatever will be will be I suppose.

Thanks for listening to me vent.

I am so sorry that you are going thru this.  I know people will tell you it's for you own good, and I know you know that, but it doesn't make you FEEL any better.  I understand.  My cardiologist made me go through some stuff as well.  Are you a company that is required by law to adhere to the Family Medical Leave Act? (FMLA)  I had to do that with my company because of all the days I had to miss for pre op appointments.  Since your insurance is coverng this as a medical necessesity, I thought that by law, your company has to honor that.

I am sure you have already though of all these options, Just trying to help

Hi Linda, I'm not sure if we are or not.  We have about 8 people in the company and we don't even have a handbook, lol  I see it on the wall on that big sheet about minimum wage etc but the box isn't checked next to it and honestly I'm scared to bring it up.  I know my boss and I'm sure he's think I'm taking adantage of something.  We'll see if this even happens and go from there.  :)

Thank you
