pain after eating

Hi
Does anyone get pain after eating every meal, below waistline.  Sometimes gurgly, then persistent pain that goes away in an hour or so and sometimes diarrhea or just the cramps that come before the diarrhea..  This is new to me and I am 4 years out from surgery date 1/19/05.   I worried I am getting an ulcer

Could be an ulcer.  I had that issue a few weeks ago.  The PA thought is was a stomach flu.  He said he has been seeing alot of it the past few weeks.  It took 2+ weeks to go away. Get it checked out.  Brian

Could possibly be a bowel obstruction also...and yes, you can still have diarrhea with an obstruction. This far out you need to be checking with you PCP.
