It wasnt really bad for me.  No bathroom emergencies.  But you never know.  Good luck with the surgery.  It will be over before you know it.  I hope you dont have to go in at 5 am Zzzzz.  And bring a bra without underwires.  That was a big problem for me...ouch.  Otherwise the time just flies in the hospital.  I didnt have time to look at any mags I brought or watch tv etc.  I was busy walking etc.  Also make sure your ridinghome clothes are loose.  See you on the flip side.  Jess

Hi Nicole and Congratulations on your surgery.... Not sure what bowel cleansing agent they are using all I had to do was 5 teaspoons of Milk of Magnesia... lemme say getting and keeping it down was alot worse than the outcome.    Someone mentioned stuff to take to the hospital....  If I can make a suggestion... when taking your toothbrush and tooth paste.... I wish i would have brought kids mint toothpaste.   I brought regular adult toothpaste and it made my stomach queezy after surgery.   I used the kids toothpaste for a few days after I got home and now back to the real stuff.... but the kids toothpaste really made the difference with me.   :)  Good luck and can't wait to hear how you are doing.

Thank you for that advice. I think I will go ahead and take the kids toothpaste, just incase!

I stayed in my room from the first bowel drink to bedtime. I poo'ed pretty quickly...less than an hour...after my first "shot" of stuff. Then it was all water poo for the rest of the evening.

In the long run, it is SOOOO worth it.
