Good Monday Morning and Happy Labor Day!!!
Go**** is nice and cool and doesn't feel humid here in San Bernardino today. Hope that means a good weather day today.
Yesterday D and I picked up Mom about 11 and took her to lunch at Chili's then on to Target for an almost 2 hour shopping excursion. LOL We poked around the store until Mom started getting worn out. She had a wonderful day out and about. Me too. Stopped on the way home and did the grocery shopping and that pretty much finished the afternoon. Came home and put everything away then read the Sunday papers, played some games and watched some TV shows we had recorded. What a nice day!
Today a bike ride this morning, some gardening, after a trip to Lowes, and chilling out this afternoon. Just enjoy the day off work.
Well, it's getting light out and I think after another cup of coffee and a protein drink I will hop on Charlie Cruiser for a ride around Cal State. Wishing you and all the Cali Crew a terrific Labor Day Janine!

Well another day is here. The cats did better last night, but there was a dog barking all night. Seems I cant get a good nights sleep for nothing, well worse than usual. As for today I am suppose to go pick fruit over at my parents house, but right now I cant even imagine getting dressed, lol.
For me it should be back to work in one week. I cannot wait!!! I am also going to call the surgery scheduler tomorrow, the squeky wheel and all, lol.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends! Happy Labor Day! We are just hanging out today at the house, maybe going out and looking at some travel trailers later. We stayed up last night and looked on the Web at trailers and my Gosh some are just amazing!!!
I've been watching the news and just praying that the levee's hold in New Orleans, and that things do not get too bad in the Gulf States. I feel for those people especially after everything with Katrina. They have been through so much.
Janine I am glad your party went well.....sounds like great fun! I know you have a lot of work ahead with teaching and your mural, but I know you will be enjoying every minute of it! Just guard your things Missy!!! Put "Don't Touch" signs on everything! And let those creative juices flow! lol

Steve, I'm glad you are enjoying time with your Mother and I am sure she enjoys it even more! We took my Mother to my sister's wedding Saturday and then out to Thunder Valley Indian Casino for a while and she had so much fun! That was something that her and my Dad used to do together except they would go to Tahoe, but she hasn't been in a casino for many, many years and I think it brings back good memories for her. She's 81 years old now and it took a while for her to get the idea that you don't get to hear the money drop any more and there are no handles to pull! hehehehe

Lu, I am glad that you found the puppy before it was too late. I'm with you, why would some one do that to an innocent little puppy? That is so messed up!

Man, I slept big time last night.
So much that my legs were stiff behind my knees! The reclining position is getting old, and I hope to "graduate" to my bed soon! I just don't want to do it too soon, and start moving around and opening any incisions.Yes, Dr Q is very pleasing to the eye....you should see the other surgeon, Dr Gonzales.............wowzers!!!
My arms actually look much better now than the pic I posted, that was very early post op. I just wanted to show the dramatic difference in size. I'll post a pic soon. Not ready to post the lower body just yet, I'm kinda shy in that "department!"
Nothing big planned for the day, just the usual, reading, sleeping, walking....but I'm doing lots more walking which has been nice.

Well today brings more tile work, and laundry as I did not get to fini**** yesterday. But today looks a bit cooler so that may be easier, Everyone have a wonderful day and relax. I am going to try and Squeeze in a BBQ later.

Janine- So glad that your BBQ went so well and that it was easy on you. I was thinking about you all day yesterday and hoping that it wasn't going to be too much for you. That was good practice for the IE BBQ next summer! LOL Let me know if you need help with the mural or anything, you know that I am here for you girl!
Becky- Glad that you are back and had a great time on your vacation! Good luck with your Starbucks interviews. I had put one in at my local Starbucks, but then they are closing so many around here that they are moving existing employees around, so new hires are on hold here. But they see me everyday anyways, gotta love the Iced Green Tea w/ 1 Splenda!
Steve- Glad that you got the bikes out and working. We just bought our cruisers and love them, I have been riding everyday in the evenings. Took them to the beach the night before last and rode about 8 miles on the boardwalk. Was nice and cool and the sunset was the best.
Linda- Where are you girl? Are you ok? Miss seeing you post lately!! Come out, come out, wherever you are!! LOL

Ok, no coffee and brain farts are setting in. We are working on the tile again today, I think DH wants to get in done today. Next we are on to sanding all the kitchen cabinets,yippie! more mess. I will be so happy when it is all done and looking beautiful. I think a bike ride is in order this evening. Other than that it's a labor day....get it? LOL

It's been a great weekend and I'm here to say my working out is still going strong. Which is just super awesome for me. Nothing at all planned today but I'm going to call a few friends and see what's up and on their agenda.
It feels so good to have worked out and know I don't have to do it again until tomorrow, lol!! Ok all have a GREAT Labor Day!
