Getting ready for Surgery on Tues.

I am starting to pack what I need for the hosptial.
How sore will my tummy be?  Not sure what to bring to wear.

Have a loose dress for the ride home.  Be sure to take chapstick and a small pillow.  Your lips will be dry and you will need the pillow to hold tightly against your tummy for every sneeze and cough!!

Congrats! Don't forget to bring slippers and baby wipes. Don't think u really ant to get a sponge bath.

My hospital gave me some great stuff for dry lips and the best babywipes I have ever used!! I took my own silky night gown (2) and it felt wonderful to put them on they are soo much more comfortable then theirs and I took my slippers and my hair brush. The three day I took a show and wait a while for Mom to come and get me. You really aren't there too long. I went in Tuesday the 19th and came home Thursday 21st, yes of this month.

I kinda of feel jilted, I haven't got to meet him yet. There a two ladies that are going to have there surgery on the same day and both of them got to meet him.

I brought very little to the hospital. Hairbrush, tooth brush....stuff like that. Came home in what I wore....nothing special. I just made sure I had a pillow in the car for the ride home as I live an hour and half away from the hospital. I guess others brought more stuff, but I have been in the hospital enough times to know that I do not use the stuff if I brought more!
