Stress Test didn't go so well

I've simmered down a bit, only because my man was just in an accident and probably totalled his car :(  No one was hurt thank goodness but **** puts things in perspective I suppose.

It will work out if it's mean to.  I'll talk to billing about payments on that.  Also need to make payments on the surgery itself after insurance so maybe they can lump it all in somehow?

We'll see... :)

OMGosh!!! I am glad no one was hurt in the accident. Having the car totaled sux, tho. Things like that have a way of putting other things in perspective. It will work out in God's time hun. We all want immediate gratification, but sometimes waiting is for the best. Good luck.

I am so sorry to hear about your news.  Don't get stressed.  I know that is easier said then done.  Just pray for the surgery and ask GOD for guidness and he shall deliver!!!

One thing....don't give up hope no matter what the situation is.....pray as corny as it might sound because I have found that my prayers do get answered.

Yes, as far as crappy days goes?  Yesterday took the cake, lol

I have my cardiologist appt on Thursday and lets just hope he clears me.  :)  We will see.

The cardioloist I saw yesterday was explaining this heart thing to me, at the time I was very upset because well, I'm adopted and have VERY limited health info known so when things pop up, it's always a shock and scary as hell.  Now thinking back he told me that if I wanted any heart condition, it's this one... as it's cureable.  He didn't get into "how" but said with "heat" and left it at that, he didn't want to get into it and step on Dr. K's toes. 

This morning I started thinking about if this is something that can be used to get my adoption records opened too... I need to look into that.

So sorry you are going through this, but kudos   to you for bouncing back with a positive attitude after the day you had yesterday!  Wikipedia has a pretty good article on the subject:

It also mentions a cure, and explains that there are different variations of the syndrome, some riskier than others.  There's also a list of famous people who have it, including Gene Simmons of KISS!

Lots of people with cardiac abnormalities get cleared for WLS surgery--the important thing is that the doctors are aware of it beforehand so they don't get surprised in the operating room.  So the fact that they discovered this is a good thing!
