I did the 5k at Disneyland today.  I must say, I was very proud of myself.  I'm not the fastest walker, but I was able to complete it in 57 minutes.  I  know, it's not a record time for most, but for me it was a HUGE accomplishment.  I even jogged (for about 10 yards at a time) a few times.  I am so flippin' proud of myself that I thought I'd toot my own horn....  3 years ago, I weighed 350 pounds and had ruptured my achilles tendon.  I couldn't even walk for 4 months while I healed.  I have come sooooo far!  YEAHHHHH

My next one is in October.  I will be doing the CHOC Walk 5k at Disneyland to benefit the Childrens' Hospital of Orange County.

Please go to www.chocwalk. and sponser me.  I could really, really use the help.

My registrant ID is :   cindea.  You have to put my ID in for me to get credit.

Thanks for letting me share and helping me in my endeavors for a better life.

Hey! I didn't know you was doing that. I was this morning. We finished in about 53 mins. And that was stopping to take pictures and one potty break. I thought it was fun, and had a great time. I loveds seeing all the creators out there. The weather was great, not hot, nor cold. What did you think of your medal? lol

You should toot your horn. Just getting out and moving is what it is all about.

Congrats!!!!!!

My nice run is Long Beach 1/2

Good luck with CHOC Walk.

I saw your pic...you are sooo cute.  Dr Sohlpour (my ortho) won't let me do anything beyond a 5k, too much strain on the repaired achilles.  I'm glad for my 5k's and I'll always volunteer to support y'all in your marathon endeavors!

Congrats to you!!!!!

xoxo

I know this is a week late...but congratulations for finishing. I did the Disneyland 5k last year in 1 hour & 20 sec. I went to register this year, but it was already closed. So I volunteered for the half marathon the day later.
