Happy Saturday early kids!
Today is the usual errands, Wally World, albertsons etc. then later this morning we're going to the Shell Beach farmers market for some fresh air and fun. Tomorrow is definately Sammi and I's day to go for breakfast. Sammi doesn't eat pancakes quite as often but she still does. Sometimes it's pancakes, sometimes it's a blueberry muffin. She's so funny. Monday is me day. DH will be at work and Grandma and Grandpa are taking Sammi. I'm going to enjoy some quiet time for sure.

Yesterday was a great day for me. I've been practicing walking parts of the river run for the October race. I walked the entire course of the river run in October! Yoo hoooooooo! I was tired and had to stretch out twice but I did it! I'm not sore today but I'm going to take it easy. I'm also within .5 lbs of my Labor Day Goal. I picked 230 as a pie in the sky number because the day I hd to pick a number for a couple days before surgery. I didn't know what kind of weight I'd be losing. So, yaaaaaaaaaaay me!
no cartwheels yet Jeni, but I hve a feeling they're in my future. LOL Live vicariously and laugh in spite of work. ;-) Life is good, you got approved! Don't let them get you down, you worked to hard to get high on life. Everyone have a great day!

I'm BAAACCCCKKKK .....Had an awesome time in Vegas....and I actually came home with some money - which is unusual for me as I usually spend all that I take....so at least I won some and was able to play quite a bit on their money. Cher was great - although there was to much production.....I mean do we really need her to change her clothes 17 times during the show....it wouldhave been better if she would have just sung more ...rather than all the in between acrobatics by her dancers and video flash backs of her and Sonny.
Now Air Supply that we saw at the Orleans was awesome....they sang all of their hit songs and sang the entire show....over an hour and a half....
So....let me tell you how great it was to be able to walk all over the casinos and everywhere without being out of breath and in pain.....wow...we even walked over to Caesers and walked all around the forum shops (oh how I wish I was rich to buy things in all those designer shops like Dolce and Gabana, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Ann taylor and on and on....but I did get some jewelry at the Brighton Store......
Anyway - I have missed all the news here and am so glad to be home so I can catch up on whats been happening...
Everyone have a great weekend....I need to go get the laundry started then get ready for LB coffee....

Janine thank you for asking about us. We are doing pretty dang well all of us. It has been crazy at work! It usually starts to pick up around this time as the kids seem to need more counseling when school starts but it was really wild.
Perry is doing well. Been working and trying to stay out of trouble. It looks like he landed another property mamnagement company, so that's awesome.
Lairsa is spending the weekend in Monterey with her ex-boyfriend who is unable to commit to a relationship but makes one hell of a friend. Larisa also landed a subsitute pre-school aide job. Her boss said even though she is a sub, she will be plenty busy. 
Lexie is rockin'. She saw the nutritionst on Monday and has a whole new eating program. She has been so on track and
I'm extra proud of her! 
This weekend has the Reno Rib Cookoff today and the County in the Park concert tomorrow. I guess Monday will be laundry and such. I am sad too that this is the last offical weekend of summer.

I HOPE YOUR RIGHT THAT THE DR. CAN GIVE OR DO SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN. BOY I KNOW THIS HURTS WORSE THEN ALMOST ANY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD. HECK MAYBE ANYTHING. PROLLY CAUSE IT'S ALMOST CONSTENT.
I AM TRYING MY HARDEST TO DO THINGS TO KEEP MY MIND OFF OF THE PAIN BUT IT'S HARD AS ALMOST EVERYTHING HAS TO DO WITH THE HANDS OR STANDING OR SOMETHING.
I HAVE 7 FULL SIZE OWN ( LIKE BARE ROOT BUT NOT. LOL) ROSES TO PLANT YET. THE ONES THAT WERE ON SALE. THE LAST OF THEM ARRIVED YESTERDAY AND I HAVE TO GET THOSE BEAUTIES INTO THEIR POTS.
I'M GOING TO HAVE DAVE (HUBBY) POUR THE POTTING SOIL FOR ME AS THOSE BAGS ARE SO HEAVY NOW WITH THE PROBLEMS I AM HAVING.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HEAT AND MUGGY WEATHER, BY TIME I GET STARTED I HAVE SWEAT DRIPPING IN MY EYES.

Good morning everyone! I made it to dineyland yesterday but not gonna take on tha****erpark today. Thinking I'm just gonna clean house and do my walking video. I had some pretty good pulling pain in one of my surgical sites yesterday walking up and down the little hills at disneyland. Thinking I may be putshing it a bit much. Chasing kids at home is a whole new world than chasing and trying to keep up with them at disneyland lol... not to mention this is a 3 day weekend so ALL the people that are gonna be at tha****er park. Anyway I am off to clean. Have a wonderful day everyone!
Janine thank you for thinking about me and giving me a shoot out. The week just flew by and I find there are just not enough hours in the day for me to do everything I want to do. I am doing great and feeling great. Trying to focus on getting all my water and protein in on a daily basis I have yet to get in 100 grams of protein since I went off the liquid stage. I am NOT hungry and a lot of times I actually have an adversion to food. So, I have been focusing on getting at least 70 grams in and slowly will try to increase to 100.
The weekend has nothing planned, just the way I like it. LOL! Today, we have someone coming out from At&t to hook up my U-verse and than maybe we will hit the pool. It was 107 here yeterday and I was miserable. Tomorrow little man goes with his daddy, so I will go to the store and gym. Monday will be a day of relaxation and probably some more time in the pool.

Good Morning All! Yes, I picked up my new computer yesterday and it's a screamer! WhooHooo! 
My son, the super computer nerd was whining that my 'puter is better than his! hehe.
Joe had the day off yesterday so he and his buddy Brian hunted their way over to the coast and made it to Jayden's school just as class let out to suprise him with an after-school pick up! He was stoked. They showed up with Jayden's camo's and boots and once he got changed went over to see mom and say adios. Then they headed for the hills. I have no clue when I'll see them.
Today I have on my priority list is finding a new used dryer. I hate laundromats and I have some quilts amd bedding to get done. I may just break out the hammer and hang a clothes line in the back yard. It's hot enough!
I need to start cleaning this place. I want a clean house prior to surgery on the 8th so I don't hace to worry about it! Wow.........it's getting close.

.With this sauce I make when yI am ready to eat soem I can add meat or more veggies.It is going to be hotter than hell here today, so, I am going to get busy before I run out of steam. I love cooking, baking and canning but in the summer canning sure heats up the kitchen...TG for A/C

Well lets see...last night the DH and I went to Best Buy to pick-up a cable for my ipod and I ended up getting a new 8gb one (my DH is going to take my older one, this way I can put my audiobooks on mine!) Then got looking around and watching all of the kids there play the Rock Band games on Wii, and got inspired to get a Wii and the Wii fit!! LOL We are so gullable!! But I have been looking at them for awhile and this is the first time that a store has had both of them in stock! So I will be Wii fitting it this weekend. Later today we are taking the beach cruisers down to the beach for riding with friends. But right now my DH is working on the kitchen tile job! Boy what a mess!! Then on Sunday evening we are meeting our buggy crew (we have sandrails and do the whole Glamis Dunes thing in the winter) at BJ's Brewery in Corona, to plan out all of the season dates. The guys are all over this, and itching to get out there in the sand. The women usually discuss potluck dinners we will do and what crafts (ie. knitting, christmas ornaments, pumpkin carving, ect.) that we will do. My DH always does a lobster trip in October for everyone, where we bring fresh LIVE lobster for everyone (last year we brought 33!!) and he cooks them for everyone with all the fixins! It is a popular trip, just about everyone in the group comes and we also bring pumpkins for the kids to carve while the wait for dinner to be ready. So as you can see, it takes a little planning. So other than all of that we will just be hanging out at home working on the kitchen and riding the cruisers around. Hope that everyone has a safe and supper weekend!
