Hey Candi...been thinking about you. How did it all go...are you so friggin happy that you got a TT out of it? I know it is hurts, and you should take it easy. Listen to your body about going to the wedding for sure! Glad to see you posting!  

Hey!  I'm doing well.  I'm so happy the drains are out!  They removed over 10 pounds.  I weighed myself yesterday and I'm down 15 pounds, and that's with all the swelling still!  I'm so glad I did this, I just want to feel back to normal soon.  I'm not a very patient person when it comes to being laid up!

I'm still not sure about the wedding today. 

Good Morning.  I still have the rememants of this cold. You know kinda hanging around in the chest.  Usually first thing in the morning.  As for me what is on tap today. Not much.  This morning will be a 30-40 mile quick ride and then putz around the house.  The fair is going on right now and I got some free tickets to the bull riding, I am so there I just love bull riding so that will be our sunday and then on Monday at of dark thirty mount up the trust aluminum steed and go for a 100 mile jaunt. I just had some major work done on my bike to the tune of 500.00  but omg the seat feels just awesome.
Chuck, decided yesterday that he needed a road bike so he went out and dropped 900 bucks on a new road bike.  Man am i ever jealous cuz the new one I want is all carbon and pretty but is comes with a tag of 2400 bucks. I will get it eventually.  Along with new shoes and road pedals that clip in.

 Janine and Calif!!!  Morning!  Just getting up as Chloe the    was alerting me to the fact that there was NO food in either of their bowls!  lol 

Anyhoo, we made cabana reservations at KSS Chula Vista for today, so we're heading down there around 9ish and will enjoy a lazy day of relaxing there and splashing in the water!  I'm so spoiled with those cabanas!  LOL   I think we're planning on going to the one in Buena Park on Sept 13th so we'll have hit all of them this summer! Ok, time to read the morning paper and make my shake!

Good Morning Janine and California ladies and gents.  I have woken up with a huge headache and a super soar throat.  I knew something was coning on but not this weekend!  I have too much to do,  I am getting fed up with cement floors!  I have to get this tile in before I blow a left gassget!  Did a costco run last night wow do they have good fruit and veggies.  I don't kow where all my kids get it from (definatly not from me) that all they want is healthy stuff,    They can't get enough fruit.  I did splurge for them and got them these huge chocolate cupcakes for the labor day party we always have.  What we do every year is go to the dollar store and purchase two bottles of the best smellnig bubble bath we can find and then we pour it into the jacuzzi,  When the bubbles start they just pour over into the pool and then they fill the entire back yard with bubbles the kids have so much fun.  We started this about 3 years ago and now all the kids in the neighborhood and all our family want to come for this yearly event.  It sounds messy but boy is it fun!  Well off to my coffee pot.  Janine thanks for the tips last night  Have a super duper day.

I feel like I haven't posted in so long.  Work has really been making me earn the paycheck lately.

Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone!

Looks like a hot and very muggy day is on tap for today. It's cloudy with lot's of the monsoon moisture in the air. I need to get an early start on my garden chores this morning. The weather report is saying we may have rain/thunderstorms here in the valley this afternoon.

Liz and the Disney runners have inspired Darrell and I. We got our (hardly used) bikes down from the garage rafters this week and we are going to spruce them up and intend to take at least a short ride each day this weekend. Isn't it weird how you get something with good intentions and then just procrastinate or whatever and never put them to use? Habits are hard to break.

BTW Janine the weekly weight lost reported on the WWW post is - 58.5 pounds. Well done Cali Crew!

Get this we are under flash flood watches again and it has been thundering and raining here!!! Go figure...been the worst summer here that I have spent in terms of weather and HUMIDITY!!!

We are having a FANTASTIC time having Mike back home.  It truly has been wonderful and I am SO happy!

The only thing that stinks....our darn washer and dryer took a crap on us!  700 bucks to replace those! ugh.

Anyway, loving life right now and couldnt be better!
