I am heading out in a bit to have some lab work done for my PCP. Then it's off to LA for an orthodontic consultation. I am having oral surgery later this year. Oh, joy!! I'll be back to protein drinks for about 3 weeks because I won't be able to eat solid food. Then we are off to Tommy's Original Chiliburgers. I'll have one without the bun, of course. But they are soooo yummy! Then we'll stop in El Monte to pick up some yummy pork tamales. Matthew's been wanting some for a while.

So I have a busy day ahead of me. I hope everyone has a great day.

well i'm out of work for a little while I have some things I have to take care of but I'll be stopping in once in a while to check things out on the board.

Hi, Cali crew.  My DH and I are off to Family Camp at Sequoia Lake.  It is a lake owned by three counties of YMCA.  Jerry's family uses it as a small kind of family reunion, and Jerry's niece is getting married there this weekend.  We didn't make it last year, so I am looking forward to seeing if anyone notices that I've lost 75 pounds...  since I only know most of the folks from the yearly camp.  Since I just had my hair perm'ed last night, I expect them to say, "You look different.  Did you just perm your hair?" 

Meanwhile, the guys doing the kitchen remodel are taking the weekend off, too.  That's good news for the friend who is housesitting the cats and dog.  That way he doesn't have to corral everyone into the master bedroom before the workers get there every morning.  You know how easy it is to herd six cats? 

Mom came out Tuesday and left again Thursday morning from Hemet.  Her computer broke, and she wanted Jerry to fix it, since he built it for her.  Well, it was an "operator headspace" error - she hooked it up wrong after she moved it three feet to a new location.  However, he got her a new flat monitor, more memory, a smaller case, and defragged her disk to improve the speed.  She got to see the remodel in progress, and loved it.  She couldn't get over how much bigger everything looks.  That was the intent - hiding the fact that this is such a tiny house with a "one-butt" kitchen.  So it was nice to hear that the changes are effective!

I was hoping to be strong enough for a trip up to see my sweetie and friends in San Francisco. Even found a great fare of $150 round trip through lastminutedeals.com... Since this was my first week back to work from plastics... I'M EXHAUSTED AND SORE AND SWOLLEN!!! UGH!!! So, I'm not going to SF... instead I'll hang with friends in the hot, dry, and dusty desert. I'll finish up sorting my closets and work on replenishing them with small sizes... THANK YOU LABOR DAY SALES!!! I hope to hit the Cabazon Outlets too!!! Can I say hello swollen feet?

Okay... late as usual but I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful weekend... We are picking my son up from school and then it is off to Disneyland.   I am feeling pretty energetic.   I sure hope it lasts.   I am really looking forward to this.  Planning on taking the boys to the water park tomorrow and if my newfound energy lasts back to disneyland on sunday.   By Monday I am sure to be a couch potato lol   Have a great weekend everyone!

Well Miss Janine,

I will be hosting a 14  year old birthday pool party/slumber party tomorrow.  Before the party my plan is to get a good workout at the Sand Dune park near the beach.  Sunday will consist of church and Yoga and rest or a bbq if I can find one.  Lastly Monday I'm going to visit my dear friend with another friend.  She needs some GIRL power and so she shall get it.

I'm so in this workout zone it's scaring me.  I will continue to enjoy it.  Now wish me luck that I don't dive into this damn cake tomorrow, lol.  Actually I plan on having one piece and swimming.  Here's to a wonderful weekend and I'm hoping for a loss on Monday =)
