I climbed UP 55 stories (1,155 steps) wonder why?

In my quest for an adventure AND to begin an exercise regime, I let my friends convince me to climb "the largest building west of the Mississippi."  On Friday September 26, 2008 I will begin my climb up the US Bank Tower in Downtown Los Angeles...that's 75 stories of terror (cause I'm scared) 1,500 steps!!

In addition to being a great workout (while in training), I am raising funds that will benefit the YMCA's community programs in downtown Los Angeles.
 
I'm looking to all my cyber friends and family and strangers here on OH to help me reach my goal.  Any amount is appreciated and will get me that much closer to my goal.  All donations are tax-deductible and will directly benefit the children and families in the YMCA's community programs.

I think you could get to the top girlfriend.  The first training I went to off the bat I was able to climb 40 flights.  We are now doing 55, some people are able to do it twice.  Doing this has inspired me to train to run my first 5k...so with that said you could do it.  It took me 37 minutes to do the 55 flights =)

They do the stair climb every year.  We do training every Tuesday and Thursday in a different building.

I saw this last year and really wanted to do it, but time didn't permit.  Is it too late to sign up this year?

They have training on Tuesday and Thursday you have to be there by 6:25pm at the YMCA to train.  And I believe they do a Wednesday morning training, not sure of the time.

I'm thinking about it...but I just remembered that I will be running the San Jose 1/2 marathon the next weekend...and then the LB 1/2 marathon the weekend after that.  Hmmmmm......
