List of MediCAL surgeons available?

Is Medicare and MediCAL the same thing? a friend wants info on all NorCal Bariatric surgeons - does such a list exist? Thanks :)

It is my understanding and I am not always correct, but Medicare is government, like Social Security and disability issues.....Medical is a state program....I know my mother who is 84 has Medi Medi which is both.....

Medi-Cal is state medical insurance that you get if you're low income or on Welfare. Medicare is is government/federal medical insurance that you get when you're on Social Security, Social Security Disability or when you hit a certain age (62 or 65?). Hope this helps. =)
