Hey Everyone,

So last nite, my dinner came out fantastic!  So good that I actually ate a couple bites too many of the elk and venison.. and had to lay down on the love seat!  Well, my dog Spike saw me laying on the love seat and did a HUGE leap from the sofa, to land right on my overly full pouch..  Which caused me to throw up..  My hubby had a really good laugh!  The big jerk!

So tonite for dinner.  I'm going to bbq chicken legs and thighs with a jalapeno jelly glaze and for the veggie.. I think I will grill some butternut squash seasoned with  paprika, garlic and black pepper!

I will make sure not to eat too much tonite, in case my dog is part jumping bean again!!!!

So what are all of you having for dinner tonite???

Hi Renee

Glad to see ya!

Do you grill on an indoor grill or an outdoor grill?  If its an outdoor grill, do you use propane or charcoal.  Just asking cuz its a lot of work for me to use the outdoor charcoal grill of which I love the taste of my food on.  I just usually end up with great tasting food, but I can't get the charcoal grill smell outta the house for days or outta my hair and skin for days

Tonight its Penne pasta cuz I can't really swallow with the Strep Throat.  I mixed the Penne with cheddar cheese, garlic (in the jar) and a lil Lawry's seasoning salt. I would add a salad or broccoli/califlower, but that would be too much for me right now.

I had salad and grilled venison (I love my George Foreman!!!)  last night the boys on the bridge (hubby and the night crew) had venison stew and bisquits that I made them.  Tomorrow I'll have salad and grilled chicken.  God I love the 2 week pre-op diet (wow.....this line is getting OLD!)
