I am so excited - my surgeon's office just submitted my paperwork to the insurance company last week, Wed. to be exact, and I the anxious one called the insurance company yesterday to confirm they received the request, and not only did they receive it - they have already approved it - or as I was quickly informed that Blue Cross doesn't use the term approved, they say you have been certified to receive the surgery.

It doesn't matter how they express it - just as long as I receive the end result - Approved.... :)

Now just need to complete the rest of the pre-op stuff, call my surgeon's office and confirm the preliminary date I was given as 9/22/08 and all of you will be moving over on that losers bench.
