Hi Lisa,
I don't post as much on the CA board but I read your post and wanted to encourage you to not get nervous about fluctuations in your weight. It happens to all of us. But in the end, the scale goes down. You are very new to this... you'll be very happy with the losses if you can be patient. By the way, I live in Manteca- would you like to be part of our little get-togethers when we have them in Modesto/Tracy/Manteca?

Good morning Janine and the Cali Crew!  I hope you all have a great day today.  Janine I know you will enjoy your first day back.  It just does not seem like it now.  Well today is back to the grind.  I did not hear from my walking partner last night so I probably will be doing my walking later this evening instead of the morning.  We got very side tracked yesterday and ended up trying to plant grass again in our front yard (this is our 5th try).  We live in the desert and things just don't grow normal here!  Then decided to change around our front patio an one thing lead to another and we never did get to our tile.  Oh well eveyrthing in good time.  Today is Laundry catch up day and homeschooling.  You all have a great day and Sign me up for next year's outing to the water park.  Rhonda

Rhonda might I suggest you go and talk to someone in a nursery about planting grass because I know within the month now we are going to have to shorn our lawn and reseed for the winter. We have to have 2 different types of grass that grows in the summer time and in the winter. Weird eh? This is probably why you are having problems getting grass to grow because you are planting the wrong type of seed for the season! Wishing you a very  Green thumb this time! Kisses

I had a great day yesterday. I done very little and had time to read a book, or part of one. Its good and I wish I didn't have a very busy day planned today, because I would love to sit back and read some more. The book if from Catherine Coulter and its called "The Target" Great book.

Oh Goodie, coffee is done. Time to go.

I wish you all a great day.

Sending Hugs and Kisses

Good Morning All!  I've been MIA for the weekend because my darn out-dated computer lets me on the internet only once in a while (was going to use the word "intermittent" but it's too early for me to know for sure if I spelled it right).  My mommy and Joe are going together to buy me a new lap top for post-surgery entertainment.  There's only so much a gal can do while she's healing!  The old laptop will be wiped clean and only have internet access and that will be Joe's and any visitors wanting to "log on".

Today is Jayden's first day of school.  His momma texted me and said he was clean and in bed sound asleep.  New outfit picked out, shoes lined up, backpack ready, snack ready.  He picked out some deodorant to start wearing because "he surely didn't want to stink and offend the other kids".  I'm telling you, this is NOT a normal 5 year old!  Momma also said......."Boy ready, but momma's gonna cry like a baby".

Joe and I took a long road trip hunting on Saturday.  I missed the only buck we saw all day long.  Sunday we both slept in.   Mega sleep.  Then I had to go to the laundromat because we were both out of underwear.  I need to go to Craigslist and find a gas dryer.  Soon.  Today?  Also need to smog my beast and get an oil change.  Work seems to be getting in the way of my To Do list!

I am no on my "official" 2 week liver shrink diet.  No straying from the written plan.   I made a mega pot of venison stew for the boys tonight.  I'll be eating my 4 oz chicken breast and a salad and liking every bite of it!

Outta here..........gotta go fill up my water bottle.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Mornin folks!

I am back for a couple days! I have to work today and tomorrow (thank goodness for a couple extra days of pay!) and then Wed I head back to the bay area, another interview!

The interviews I had the last couple weeks went well, but I am never a good judge and there are just so many people vieing for the same jobs up there right now! I am not too worried though, I know something will work out when I come across the right one!

I hope everyone has a great day today! I am at work and there is a ton waiting for me, so I better get back to it!

Oh my gosh, had so much fun yesterday, I'm SO tired!  I'm actually drinking an Americano this morning for some wake up juice!  Got home from our totally fun, totally relaxing weekend in the beautiful desert last night around 8.  We had a blast meeting Janine and Jeff and Lisa.  Janine, Jeff is so sweet, what a nice man!  So easy going, just like my Tim.  I told Lisa that I was very glad her husband pushed her out the door to meet us!
Janine, thank you so much for your generosity yesterday, totally unexpected, but that's the best kind of gift.  xo  We'll give some serious thought to coming to the IE dinner on the 20th!  xo Kim
