Does anyone have some good Pureed food ideas?

I have about a week and a half to go on pureed foods and I would love some ideas on some new ideas.

check you messages--I am sending a collection of recipes for pureed and soft foods I compiled off the recipe message board.  They are too long to post here.  I go on purees next Tues and am really looking forward to something beside water, crystal light, jello and popsicles.  Enjoy  Helga

Here's what got me through the pureed stage...actually I did not mind this stage at all.It was WAY better than the liquids!!!

Refried Beans with cheese ( I would put them in my magice bullet to make them extra smooth and creamy!)

Ricotta Cheese with Spaghetti sauce

Ricotta Cheese with Cinnamon & Splenda - YUM!

Egg casserole

SF puddings and jellos

Wow! How long have you been on pureed? And Liquid? I know each Dr. is different.

Joy,

My surgeons protocol is 2 days of clear liquids, then up to the 3rd week post op on "full" liquids, then 3 weeks of pureed, and then introduce soft foods.

This Wednesday it will be 5 weeks since surgery. I can start eating soft foods on Sept 3rd.  I was just running out of ideas for pureed foods.

What is your post op diet like?

I went to the Sacramento event this weekend and meet Chef Dave. He is a Bariatric Chef and has a book coming out this friday on pureed foods.  You can check it out at www.chefdave.org.
