Need pro WLS PCP in Inland Empire

I've been lurking, but have finally joined to see if someone can help.  I had a pro WLS doctor when I didn't live here, but my insurance wouldn't cover surgery. Now, my insurance covers surgery, but I've moved to a new county and the doctor I have is very anti-surgery.

My BMI is 43, I have co-morbidities including degenerative arthritis that requires expensive medications (Enbrel).  I'm so frustrated and I don't know how to get help.  Does anyone know a doctor that will work with me on this???  I prefer one in Redlands or San Bernardino, but will drive anywhere as long as it's within 30 miles due to insurance rules.

Please help.  Thanks in advance. 

P.S.  I've been told NOT to use Beaver Medical due to their policy of using their diet class.  I do have documented diets already.  Any advice on this is appreciated as well.

I highly recommend my surgeon Dr. Douglas Krahn in San Bernardino. He and his staff are wonderful and really made the process move with ease. My primary doctor is Tom Ku, PA. at Corona Family Care, he was my first step, but very supportive also, as I had quite a few of the same co-morbidities as you have. I have to second Lisa's thumbs up for Dr. Krahn at Western Bariatrics. They are at St. Bernardine's Medical Center in San Bernardino.
For a WLS friendly PCP I highly recommend Dr. Dean Jiffry at St. Bernardine's Medical Center as well. He referred me to Dr. Krahn some three years ago and the rest is history. LOL

Thanks for the names...Unfortunately it doesn't look like my insurance covers either doctor.  I'm going to keep looking though.  I have Blue Shield HMO
