I have a date!

Well I got my date!! Sept. 3rd!!

I cant belive how fast this went after I got my insurance approval! It all seems surreal right now!

Congratulations Nicole.  Mine is the day before yours.  I just got back from my pre-op class alot of great information.  I also have the same Dr. so we will probably see each other at the hospital.

omg! That is so cool! We can be surgery buddies!! lol We can make eachother get up and walk around so we can get home sooner. lol

I go for my 4 hour class next tuesday, and then my physical with Dr. Coats next friday. Does the class put you to sleep? I mean, I know it will be full of information, but I dont want to fall asleep, lol.

That would be great!  As far as the class I was getting restless towards the end.  They pretty much talk about the same information that is in the book.  I don't know if you've been to any of the support groups (in Modesto), but the woman that facilitates it (at Mc Henry Village) also does the pre-op class.  They have a nutritionist that gives a presentation and lastly they go over what to expect why you are in the Hospital.  It pretty much took up the whole 4 hours.

Next is my pre-op at Dr. Coates office this Friday.
