I got my insurance approval!!!

OMG! I am soooooooooooo flippen excited!! I dont even know how I am typing right now! lol

Finally I got it!! I called my dr. office to let them know, and I am waiting for a call back to see what the next step is!!

What is the next step??

I am usually only a looky loo on the boards, but I am going to be conversating a lot more now!! Wanna know why.....CAUSE I GOT MY APPROVAL!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!  (<-----Thats my happy dance!)

Congratulations.As far as what the next step is....it depends on your surgeon.  I had to do alot of stuff before the request for authorization was even sent to the insurance company.  Such as Pysch eval, nutrition class, support group, cardiac clearence.  Then once I was approved, I just had to do my preop stuff like chest xray, EKG, blood work, Upper GI.  I know each surgeon is probably different, so you will have to check with yours.

 Woohoo! Time to get your final pre -op test if you need any. Take some before piccies and measurement. Start plannijg t lose a few pounds pre-op.  Get a little stash of vitamins and supps for after.  Sprinkle generously with happy dance and enjoy.

awesome!! yay you!!! doesnt all of this just seem so unreal!? its like you wait and wait and wait, and then out of no where....things are moving along.

I spoke to my dr's office, and I am looking at a date in Sept!! I guess last year was the last of the "stuff your face till you wanna puke" Thanksgiving, lol.
