Cali, I did it! I did the Midnight Madness in San Diego. I had lots of fun watching the costome contest and the lighted bike contest. I am glad that I had purchased a Camelbak and a pair of cycling shorts. My backside was sore during the ride, but not afterwards and because of 70 oz. Camelbak, I was not dehydrated either. Lots of cyclists used Camelbak during the ride. The ride was great. I had a near incident when my brake handle brushed up against another rider's Camelbak. The ride ended around 2:30 A.M. I got back to the hostel around 3 am and went to bed around 3:30 am. I met people from around the world (Germany, Italy, Columbia, Hong Kong, England and India) during my short stay.
I will definitely do it again.

YES THIS WAS A WONDERFUL WEEKEND FOR GARDENING. I AM JUST IN AWW OF HOW PRETTY MY FLOWERS ARE TURNING OUT TO BE. I REALLY DIDN'T THINK I WOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS TYPE OF THING. PLUS I LOVE MY SOLAR FRIENDS THAT MAKE MY GARDEN COME A LIVE AT NIGHT TIME. I HAVE THIS VISSION THAT THEY ALL PARTY AFTER DARK... LOL
I AM WAITING ON MORE BULBS AND ROSES TO PLANT. SOME ONE SAID THAT I WASN'T GOING TO HAVE ANY GRASS IN THE BACK YARD WHEN I GET THROUGH. I TOLD THEM I DON'T HAVE ANY NOW, IT JUST LOOKS LIKE PERFECTLY MOWED LAWN.. IT'S CARPET..LOL SOON YOU WON'T SEE IT AT ALL. I HAVE 12 MORE FULL SIZE BUSHES COMING...
I SURE HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO START PUTTING THEM IN THE FRONT YARD. I DON'T LIKE WORKING IM THE FRONT YARD, TO MAMY PEOPLE, FUNNY THE ONLY THING I HAVE IN THE FRONT YARD IS 4 FULL SIZE ROSE BUSHES AND ONE IS ABOUT 10 TALL AND BLOOMS ALL YEAR ROUND AND IS BEAUTIFUL 2 HAVE ABOUT SEEN THEIR DAY AND ONE IS DYING FROM OUT HIGH WATER TABLE.. RATHER A VERY BORING FRONT YARD. ONE OF THESE DAYS I WANT TO RAISE THE YARD AND MAKE A PLANTER ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE YARD SO I CAN GROW ROSES HEDGES SO I CAN WORK IN THE YARD AND NOBODY SEE ME.. LOL
WELL ONCE AGAIN I HAVE JABBERED TO MUCH SO I SHALL BID YOU ALL A FOUND ADO... LOL

Yes it's me! I cannot believe I have 5 minutes to write something. I have done nothing but sit at my sisters and help her out all I can. We now know the reason for her severe break for a simple fall. She has , here goes bad spelling, osteoporous, and very badly! Her bones are so soft they had a very hard time screwing and putting a plate in her ankle. I feel so bad for her. Of course NOW the doctor is listening to me, I have been trying for 9 years to have a bone scan. My mom had it really bad and now my baby sister. I think I am ok, but we really need to check. Probably one of the reasons I am down 1 inch in height. Anyway, been spending the nights there, and finally came home and trying to sleep in my bed. I am really sick of recliners.
Let me think, Janine, your work that you do is beautiful, do not stress over the mural, it's just something new for you, but it will be awesome. Everything you do is awesome in your paintings. You have a god given talent, not many people can do what you do.
Ok it's off to make a couple of phone calls and then back to my sisters. If anyone tries to call, please call my cell phone, I am not home much. I don't think Dougie knows who he is married too. Poor guy hardly saw me all weekend.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful week. I will try and get here more often. Just 3 more weeks and then I am hoping this sling comes off. I thought that I was not going to have surgery, but my doctor is still talking about maybe, I am not sure I can go one day longer with this thing on, let alone another 6 weeks. CRAP, I know exactly what you were talking about Katt.....ULGH.
Lots of complain, but right now alot of drama in my life.

Janine, I know your mural is gonna be da bomb! How do I know?? I've seen the work you've done on other projects. You are super talented. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.
The weekend was good. I got to see my former bosses and thier kids. They say that I am part of their family and always will be. That was so nice to hear. Then I visited with my uncle. He's looking really good. He had the RNY a few years ago and got under the 200lb. mark but then had back surgery and was flat on his back for months and gained some weight back. I am going to broach the subject and see if he is willing to get back on trach and we can be a support to each other. I'll let you know how that conversation goes when I finally get up the nerve to have it...lol

I have been in computer hell for 2 days. OH called and helped partly then the guys *****built my computer helped the other part. Yeah.
I had a blast with my Grandson this weekend, then we took him home and ended it with school shopping with my sophmore Granddaughter size 00 - who is just adorable and a very healthy 00. We always have gone to See's Candy in the mall after shopping, but I by past it and on the way home, my daughter said you know we didn't go to See's, then I said I know I saw it and decided to just walk past, none of us need it. My granddaughter said Mimi I'm so proud of you. Oh and all my kids this weekend said Mom I can tell you've lost weight n your face, neck, my son even said in your ankles too.... I love them, they noticed. But no move in the scale today. I guess I will start the Wednesday Weigh In with all of you. I don't get my first fill until Sept. 11... so I was told not to get discouraged, I guess as long as I don't gain.
