Good morning Janine and crew

Yep - its Monday.....so not much planned for me this weekend other than figuring out what I am taking to Vegas....Iwill probably take enought clothes for a month...lol.

The weekend was nice - got my hair done on Sat then yesterday went to the farmers marker/craft fair then over to sisters for a BBQ last night.....pretty low key.

Janine - do not stress about the mural - you are awesome and it will be great - just do your thing girlfriend.

Well time for me to go have another coffee and read the paper and watch BB10 that I dvr'd last night...

Everyone have a great week.  Sure wish I could come to the coffee on the 6th but I will be working an estate sale for my friend so I am tied up all that weekend.

Hugs to all and congrats to all the losers, newbies, those just approved and also good luck to everyone getting ready for surgery.

Good morning California!

Janine, it's probably stresors before beginning a big project.  Once you're into it, it will flow from you.

Yesterday was a rough day emotionally.  I’ve been focused on Labor day as a goal for my weight loss.  Now that it nears old pains come back to haunt me.  My former husband died Labor day weekend and I’ve been thinking about that  lot.  There were weight issues embedded with painful consequences.  Yet another time I tried to slim down and from what I’ve read here, I now know he was scared everything would change with my weight loss.  I managed to lose the weight then but gained it back and then some.  He was not happy with my progress, didn’t join me in my successful first finish of Bay to Breakers or any of the other races I did on weekends.

Naturally I began to wonder about my DH and how he would really react now that I’m losing weight and there’s no turning back.  The RNY makes it a fait accompli.  I cried most of the day thinking about all this, the consequences so many years ago and what might now happen.  DH and I talked about it and he says he loves me skinny or fat or in between and he’s not going anywhere.  Just a difficult day.  I had to work hard to get in my steps but I got them in, yaaaay me!  I did sleep better and with no Tylenol PM. :-)

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Losers!

Janine, that is so exciting about the mural - I can hardly wait to see your work!

My weekend was relaxing - son was at his dad's & daughter was working & running around, so I had the house to myself.  I had a friend over for dinner last night & made a fabulous meal, if I do say so myself.

I did go shopping for a dress on Saturday.  My eldest daughter is having an engagement party on Saturday & I wanted to find a dress.  Now that I have lost a significant amount of weight I am so happy to wear dresses again!  I was one of those who gained weight all over, so I HATED the way that I looked in dresses when I was fat.  I can hardly wait until I lose the rest!!  For now I am happy & thank goodness for Spanx-lol

I'm off to work - Monday is "Hell-Day" for me.

What a weekend for me!  First off I got my computer working on Saturday but stopped working on Sunday.  I'm feeling a whole lot like flinging it out the window like a frisbie!

It was opening of deer hunting archery season up here and Joe and his best buddy always hunt opening day.  They took off to parts unknown on Friday leaving Jayden and I to hang.  We had a total Jammie day until about 5 when we got dressed and went to Chuck-E-Cheese.  I had an awsome salad and the kid ran his little sneekers off!.  We then went to J C Penney and got him a new back pack.  While there I managed to snag some sweat pants / capris for $3 a pair.  I bought them in several smaller sizes!  For $3 I can afford to get some shrink-into lounging pants.

Sunday was more of the same.  We left around 4 to go take Jayden home but they managed to close the road 1/2 hour before we could meet.  There we were - his mom on one side of the hard close and us on the other with 2 miles separating us.  Nothing we could do.  So, the kid's hanging with dad.

Looks like Jayden and I are going to try the trip again tonight.  He's got to get home to get in his routine because he starts Kindergarten on the 25th!

Off to work I go.  Gotta send e-mail to Jayder's momma and work out details of getting the turd home.

It's my last day of vacation!  BAH!  I think we're going back to the water park today, as I think a bunch of school districts went back to school today, so maybe there will less crowds?  It's been a really relaxing time off, glad I have something fun to look forward to at the end of the week, it'll probably take me that long to get thru all the emails facing me when I get to work...lol  My husband just left to head to the Dr's to begin his process of getting the paperwork together to have this surgery.  Please keep him in prayer as he has more health challenges than I did. We only want this to be approved to help that.  But, we turn it over to God, as always.

Anyhow, congrats again to Jenn in North Cali, so excited for her and her approval!  Man, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I got approved.  The best feeling ever!

Ya'll take good care!  xo  Kim

Good Morning Janine & Cali Crew,
Had a busy but productive & fun weekend.  My parents have a rental here in town and the tennants moved out so it was time to spurce up a bit for the new renters- on Sat went over and did some yard projects- filled up a whole garbage bin.  All I could think about is how if it wasn't for my WLS, I would never of had the stamina- not to mention how I have built myself up with my exercising!  Sunday morning I surprised my hubby and made a nice Spanish Omelet ( torta) with potatoes and eggs, then my parents came over for b-fast too.  After we all went to Coscto which was nice, then spent the rest of the afternoon working im my yard, trimming and fertilizing.  It was a really rare weekend that we did not have the g-babies over but it was really nice spending the time with hubby!
Today will be grocery store and I am sure some other chores!  It is cooling off some here which is nice but I just don't want summer to leave!

Janine, I know you will do a stellar job- relax and enjoy!

To all the approved Loosers ( yeah) to all the post ops ( hang in there)

Diane C-  thinking of you- love ya

Make it a great Monday,           Chris R

Good Morning Janine & Cali Crew,

Janine, there is no reason for you to ever doubt yourself. You are one hell of an amazing artist!

The weather here was beautiful this weekend and actually pretty chilly over in San Francisco. Larisa is home and has grown up quite a bit. It is good to have her home and she starts her classes today. She has once again overloaded her schedule with 19 units and she is also hoping to land a pre-school teaching job in the afternoons. Heck, except for the messy room, it will be just like her being gone.

Lexie started junior high today. Sixth grade is going to be a LOT different from fifth. We met her teachers last week at orientation. It's going to be tough. I am not smarter than a 5th grader, so I will also be going to 6th grade right along with her!

Better get busy. Perry is at Cardio Rehab and has an appointment with the Cardiologist this afternoon. I took the day off so I could go with him.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning!!

First day of school around these parts.....YAY!!!  My girls are all set in 2nd and 8th grade and I just got back from my son's Kindergarten orientation- his first "real" day is tomorrow.  Waterworks for sure.  I can't believe my baby is starting school!  Anyway- going to be a GREAT year, I am looking forward to working in the kids' classroom and Ian's teacher (who was my daughter's K teacher) is SO excited that Ian is in her class because she knows that I will be in her room helping out. She had no parent volunteers last year and I was the only one that volunteered the year my daughter was in her class.

Okay, off to eat something.  Hope everyone has a fantastic day!!

Congrats on getting that commission Janine!!
