I did it! I went to the water park!!

Just a quick note that I can check something else off my list, we went to the water park down here just for a few hours today.  I'm still planning on going again at the end of the month with the group!  We ended up buying a season pass, which is only good until the end of Sept.  But, I think we"ll hit the one in Palm Springs when we"re there next weekend and again on the 30th so it will be worth it.  It was so fun, I haven't or laughed that much in ages!  It was just like everyone said, all shapes and sizes and ages.  Good stuff people!!!  Wahoo!!! Kim isn't it the best??????? I have so much fun at the waterpark even though I am limited on what I can do. Just the freedom of feeling good about myself makes it all worth it. Okay I was ballsy and went to the waterpark way before I had wls when I was teaching 5th grade and would go with the students for the end of the year party! YIKES...yep it was ballsy!   

Oh Kim you are getting so daring.  How cool is that.  WE used to live like 10 min from one and I would go with the kids all the time.  Those season passes are wonderful!  What brings yo to PS area on the 30th? You will sorta be in my neck of the woods.  Lol.  I am not ready for the water park yet I am still healing I think and don't want to mess up my surgery.  Isn't like 6-8 weeks before you can do anything wild?  lol.  Well I am so exited for you!  glad you had a wonderful time.  Rhonda

We have some friends who used to be in a band many moons ago, they were quite good.  They're having a little reunion in Wrightwood on Sat night.  We wanted to stay the night since it will be a late night.  We typically used to hit a Bobs or Dennys afterwards, back in the day...lol  I asked them what the plan was for afterwards and since most of them are staying in the Redlands area, we decided to stay near there.  I love putting in bids on Priceline for crazy amts and winning.  So, when I bid $75 for a RESORT in Palm Springs, and won it, I decided to try for two days!  Anyhow, I did notice that we'd be sorta in your area, but I don't think we'll have time to swing by.    I'll definitely plan on it some other time!  How're you feeling?  It sounds like you're doing good!  And yes, probably a good 6-8 weeks before trying any "gymnastics"!   Kim

    I am a total fish, didn't let it stop me when I was (bigger) I always put on my suit and got in.  I just love it, makes you feel like a kid again huh?  I am so glad you are really enjoying your life, I will be praying your hubby gets his surgery also. It is my favorite form of exercise!
