O.k. Janine Where are you? Good morning?
Rhonda...you are toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute! I actually just rolled out of bed! I swear I never hardly ever sleep that late and sleep through the night as I also have super bad sleeping habits and I am getting freaked out because in 10 short days or so I have to go back to work!
I am laughing when you said you felt macho driving the big Lowe's truck. That is the way I felt when I drove what I call my husbands "man truck!" I had never drove his big work truck and had to go and get it one day. OMG IT WAS HUGE. Now I get it why all those guys love their trucks....makes them feel big!
You are a busy beaver in spite of being tired and trust me Rhonda it will get better for sure. It is just I think your body readjusting for sure. I remember my friend telling me that it takes about 6-8 weeks before I would get my energy back and she was about right because it came back with a vengence! Don't be hard on yourself...it will all be good!
Have a great day Rhonda and thanks for getting the morning post going!
Cali Peeps....you all have a great day too!!! I am off to go meet Scott who is now a CA'er from AZ at Trader Joes to help him out in what he can eat!
What about Michael Phelps? Was that just awesome last night how him and his teammates took the gold and shattered a record? Was it not just the best to see him climb in the stands to his mother??? I had tears in my eyes! And what about the 41 year old gal (name eludes me) who took silver in the swimming. Amazing the power of the human body!!! I am just gobsmacked in awe of those Olympians!

I hope everyone has a great day try not to do to much especially with it being Sunday and most go back to work tomorrow.
Janine, where did you find all those cute smilies. I love the biker girl.

I made 11k walking again yesterday. YAAAAY ME! Went to the support group yesterday. It’s always a good way to get in touch with your feelings, help new folks coming in and support others having difficulties. I think it’s wonderful that Dr Jossart is at every support group meeting. Interesting things always come up and he’s always bringing us new information to help us.
We went to Little Thai on McDowell in Petaluma and had the usual Chicken Satay, almost 1 skewer and veyr little peanut sauce. I chewed and chewed and chewed. It was nice to have an old favorite. Trader Joe’s and finally had the TJ’s turkey meatballs. I had that for a snack. They’re great all by themselves!
I followed my self-imposed rule of walking while talking on the phone and I know that’s the reason I made my walking goal. I talked to a friend for and hour. Lol I wasn’t sure I’d get in my 10k walking because of the 4 hours driving to my support group, but I broke it down and I can get 1000 steps in about 10 minutes. So every hour I got up and walked 10 minutes. This really put it into perspective. I can make 10k steps every day by breaking it down into smaller chunks.
Yes, I'm having trouble sleeping too..the last 2 nights. I was up from 1-5am doodling around and reading BBs. I used to take Tylenol PM before surgery on a regular basis. After surgery I switched to Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetminophen liquid and it worked well. Now I’m on my own and trying not to take the Tylenol PM. We’ll see how it goes.
I have no plans for today other than to get in my 10k steps. :-)
Have a great Sunday!

Didn't post earlier cause I slept in a little too - then had to run off to the farmers market/craft fair to exchange a couple of purses I had bought from a gal as they were falling apart already....anyway, exchanged them, got 2 new ones and also a couple of really cute bead necklaces...Later today I am off to my sisters for a BBQ to celebrate my one nephews new house and also the other nephews Birthday....
Hope everyone has a great day....I am starting the countdown for Vegas - one week from tomorrow we leave for 5 days and I am so so so ready...
Hugs....
Good for you being all macho with the truck. I was up early looked really quick but had to get going. I was up at 430 and out the door by 530. I just got back from a 50 mile bike ride. I burned about 2300 calories. I am slow but I get er done.
Enjoy the day. Rhonda go slow with the red meat this soon after surgery. It really could get stuck it is also hard to digest.
Have a great day. Time for me to hit the pool.

I too have a lot of trouble sleeping since having surgery and the funny thing---- I am drained by the time I get home and get things ready for the next day. In bed by 10 and up until 1 or 2 some nights. It drives me nuts because I WANT to sleep. Every part of me is tired just can't seem to get to bed.
I can't believe the weekend is over already. I don't like Monday's but I know that it means one more day closer to Friday. I meet with the NUT tomorrow for my one month consulation and I am looking forward to that because I need some menu idea's.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
