STRIKE UP THE BAND!!! I AM APPROVED!!!

OMG!!!  I was on vacation at Lake of the Woods sitting on the deck of our cabin when my cell phone started ringing........Now mind you I had not bothered to answer it much since I was on vacay......but I got up and looked at the phone number and didn't know who it was but thought the number looked familiar...........It was the Surgeon's office!!!  She said she recieved a letter from BCBSIL stating that they had turned my file over to an independent physician who specializes in bariatric surgery and based on all of the information provided the determination was made to Certify/Approve Benefits for the proposed surgery!!!
Can you hear me in the desert Janine????
Woo-Hoo!!!  Woo-Hoo!!!  Woo-Hoo!!!
I swear if my husband wasn't sitting there listening to the conversation I would think it was a dream!  He even got teary eyed and told me he was so proud and happy for me!
She said we would talk about a date when I got back from vacation!
YIPPEE!!!!
thanks to all of you guys who told me not to give up and listened to me whine, cry and all of that pity party stuff when I was denied over and over again.......  Especially you Janine!!!  You gave me stength and the support to keep going and I appreciate that so much.
Well, we just got home and I am beat!
We had a wonderful, wonderful vacation, and that news was the cherry on top!!!

Also, my little guy came home from Palmdale on the same day I was approved!  I haven't gotten to see him yet but we have talked on the phone about three times!
