ah ha moment

i went to macy's today and just thought id try on some excersise pants.. i thought well i usually get plus sizes but just for fun i grabbed and xl.... guess what?? too big... had to get a large.... unreal.... i wanted to tell the clerk but realized she has never even eaten a doghnut before by looking at her so i saved the news for all of u... this i s such a miracle!!!! i cant get over it!!!!!!!!!!
88 lbs gone in less than 6 months... im so grarful and feel so blessed!

Congrats!! I know how good that felt.Those are the kinds of moments that I am looking forward too.
I remember about 18 years ago I lost 51 pounds and was out shopping and a I slipped om a size 9 without tugging and zipped them up I let out a whoop loud enough the sales clerk came running! Good thing we knew one another. When I told her what all the fus was about we both laughed to tears....Teah, I want that feeling back!
Keep up the good work there are more of those  moments coming soon.

Thats awesome! i remember how happy i was when i first got to wear something without a bunch of x's in front of it. like now i wear a large in scrubs with room! Isnt it weird how when you look at your clothes they look like they are someone elses? lol

Carla how cool is that? I know what you mean you just want to blurt it out to everyone and anyone when you have those kind of wow moments. I remember being in Macy's and the 1st time I bought a 12....and just stood there crying because it was such a big deal to me!

I am so happy for you....you are really rockin your tool and just think of where you are going to be on your 1st year surgiversary...OMG....a shadow of yourself!!!!

Congrats, you should be so proud of yourself.  I too remember buying jeans.  I went to Lane Bryant and then I remember not sure what to try on.  So I grabbed a 22 no too big went all the way down to an 18.  Guess what they fit with room.  I didn't have to hang out with Lane much longer after that.  I called a friend and cried while in the dressing room.  I told everyone in the store for that matter

Congrats on your wow moment - there are many more to come.....it is totally the best feeling isn't it?

I still gravitate to the plus sizes when I shoip then I have to remember - hey - you don't need these anymore...plus the clothes are alot cheaper in regular sizes.
