Food Ideas
poached egg with lots of pepper
ricotta cheese, Classico spaghetti sauce topped with mozzarella and baked
ricotta with DaVinci sugar free syrup (there are 50 flavors or so)
lean ham topped with swiss cheese and baked
hummus on a slice of ham (I make my own hummus, ask if you need a recipe)
peanut butter or havarti on bran-a-crisp crackers

Hummus ala oro
1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans/chick peas
¼ C olive oil
5 cloves roasted garlic
5 Tbl tahini
1/3 C lemon juice
1.5 tsp cumin
Toss garbanzo beans into a food processor and process until smooth. (I add the water from the can too. You can omit this and add more oil if you don’t dump on fat.)
Add oil slowly so it incorporates well. You don’t want it to separate.
Add everything else, blend well and store in the refigerator up to 2 weeks.
Hummus Spicey Version:
1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans/chick peas
¼ C olive oil

5 Tbl tahini
1/3 C lemon juice
5 Tbl cumin
.5 Tbl chili powder
1 tsp cardamom
.5 tsp corriander
cayenne to taste
Mix as above substituting spices.

I'm doing remarkedly well. Getting in protein and water is a breeze. I'm trial and erroring different foods. Mostly they work but weird thing happen too. I can eat a poacked egg and I can eat havarti cheese, but I can't mix them together and nuke them, THAT made me dump. Go figure!
Otherwise, I'm great, I hope to look as slim as you a year from now.
