Anyone else have the issue of conflicting scales???

I went to the Nut last week and her scale said I was 239

I went to my GP last night and her scale said I was 220

And our office scale said today I am 242!!!

How is that possible?  lol!!

On the topic, anyone know of a GOOD, reliable scale to purchase??

I'm so confused, which to go by?  I need to see what I was on my inital appt to the surgeons office too, I can't recall what that was, lol  Lordy!

Hello!

I use a digital Thinner scale that I got at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It's thick glass and very accurate - but it's about 1.5 lbs off than the scale I use at the dr's every week when I go for my Options class...

39 lbs lost prior to surgery!

The one I have (that is at work in the girls room) is a Thinner but not the digital, the regular one.  I may clean it up and bring it home, we'll see.  :)

I have Weigh****cher Scale by Conair and love it. I ignore the doctor's scale and just use mine, consistency is key for me. :-)

http://www.amazon.com/Weigh****chers-Glass-Platform-Chrome/dp/B0000AHSA8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1218690506&sr=1-7
Linens and Things has them on sale at some stores, my gf just got one there.

Though it looks airy and sleek, this Weigh****chers scale is plenty sturdy as well as incredibly accurate. Designed to start weighing as soon as you step on, the scale displays its readings on a 1.2-by-3-inch LCD monitor. Using a four load cell system for precision, measurements are accurate to .1 pounds and zero out as soon as you step off the platform. The platform is made from high-strength, impact-resistant glass, while the durable plastic frame is finished with a gleaming chrome exterior. The scale is easy to pick up and comfortable to stand on, as well as an easy match for most contemporary bathrooms. A simple switch on the underside lets you change from pound readings to kilograms, and the lifetime lithium batteries are easy to access (though you should never need to replace them). Measuring 12-1/4 by 13-3/8 inches, the scale is sized to accommodate larger feet and holds up to 380 pounds (175 kilograms). Conair includes a 10-year warranty. --Emily Bedard

I still do not have a scale at home after all these years and never have had a scale at home. I just rely on the one at the gym and that is what I go on. If I am within a 5 lb range at doctors compared to scale, I am cool with that. It is just in all these months since I recomitted myself to my pouch, I use the gym scale. I would go to bed bath and beyond and go with one that you feel comfortable with.
