HELLO NEW SACRAMENTO MEMBER!

hi all... my name is carli and i am  a 25 year old mother of 2 boys ages 1 & 2  I gained 130lbs in the last 3 years due to pregnancy, which puts me at 330lbs at a short 5'3!  I just went to a seminar last night and now trying to find the right doctor for me!  I live in Sacramento California, and love to meet fellow people going through what i am , and love the support of message boards!

So ill be around for awhile, theres no getting rid of me now that i hacve started this process!

im working on updating my profile and pics now!  once i figure it all out!

I'm going to take the risk that this message was meant for me ;o).
Grass Valley is about 45 minutes from me...I live to the south of Sacramento. My husband works around that area faily often. In any case, it's nice to see someone fairly nearby.
Will you be attending the Sacramento OH event in two weeks? It would be fantastic to meet people from the area. If not, perhaps we could meet sometime?

Well, it would be a lot of fun if you were able to attend. But, I understand that real life can get in the way ;o). Speaking of real life...you have a lovely family...your children are adorable!

It's so great to see someone from the area! It seems so hard to find members from Northern Ca. I wish you all the best with finding the right surgeon for you...it's a very important choice since you'll be with them FOREVER!!!

I absolutely adore my surgeon! He is wonderful, as is the entire practice. I couldn't be happier!! If you chose him, I doubt that you'd be sorry.

Hello Carli and Suz, I live close to both of you. I live in Jackson about 45 min SE of Sacramento. I moved here from Roseville.  It is very hard to find the right surgeon. Be careful some of them like to bait and switch you. Meaning that you go there for one type of surgery and they talk you into another one since they do not do the one you want. Since I want the DS and because I have Medicare from a disability it is even harder to find a surgeon. It looks like I have to travel over 4 hours to Delano to get what I want.
