good news!!

So......finally....after surgeon changes.....( due to insurance) and extra testing.... and my all time favorite paperwork limbo............I GOT APPROVED!!!!! (I finally got to write that!!!!)) Here---again---
I got APPROVED!!!! WHooooo---Hooo!!! I got a message from dr. Higa's office this morning---- with a letter to follow ( that is when I will really believe it!!!) Next will be the hard part---telling the bosses and getting the time off ( I work at a small hotel---kind of understaffed---and we are in the busy season---and my bosses are tough about time off) BUT----I'll deal----and I sure would appreciate any tips and ideas on that and any thing else I could be doing now....... date to be determined after I talk to the bosses........ I don't post much---but I love and appreciate everyones stories and comments and information as we all go through this whole "ride". believe me---I could not have gotten this far without the OH boards!!! And coming up----- I'll be getting to use all the advice I've wriiten down---recipe's, protein shakes, vitamins,' ALL of that.
Thank you to everyone...... I mean it.
I'll write more soon----and maybe even get a real avatar!!!

WHOOOOO_HOOO!!!!!!!!! I know that feels great. So happy for you. I would just point out to your boss that you will be a Leaner - Healthier -Working Machine once you have had the surgery!!!

CONGRATUATIONS!!!!! 70lbs gone pre-op...that's astounding. The more you loose before surgery, the more you minimize risks. Best wishes for a smooth surgery and recovery. Keep us posted.
