OT: So, I got the cast off...

and new x-rays were taken. The ankle is healing fine, but not enough to where I can bear any weight on it. The have me in a Cam Boot which I can take off several times a day and for showering (thank God!!!). I am soooo over taking sponge baths. I can drive (without the boot), but will have to be in a wheelchair any other time. I go back to Ortho on Sept. 8th. Ugh! I wish this thing would heal already!

Hey Steve, I'll be at the support group but not sure about coffee...Depends on if I can figure out a way to walk without putting all my weight on my ankle...Ugh!!

Hi T!!! Good to see ya. I'm doing okay. Of course I'd be better if I could WALK...lol Now the countdown starts for the next 4 weeks. Ugh!

Congrats on getting your cast off! It is good news that your ankle is healing well and that you will be able to shower and drive. September 8th will be here sooner than you know it and maybe then everything will be okie dokie artichokie!
