Are there any lap band patients of Dr. Quilici on here?

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if there are any patients of Dr. Quilici on the message board who had there lap band done with him?  I have looked at his profile and it seems like most of his patients have had RNY.  I would like to talk to some of his lap band patients to find out how there surgeries went and how they are doing with the lap band.  My insurance did approve the lap band and I am hoping to get the surgery done in Oct.  I am very nervous about the procedure and seeing that the majority of his patients had RNY I want to make sure I am making the right decision to have the Lap band vs. RNY and also if i'm making the right decision on the surgeon.

These are both yahoo groups that have alot of Dr Q's patients. I do know of a few that had Lap Band and are doing very well.

Yes we are.  I live fairly close to Saugus High School too (Seco Cyn and Pamplico area)!  Congrats on your weight loss, your doing great!  Hopefully I will be on my way too!

I am an RNY patient of Dr.Q...and a Santa Clarita neighbor (my family is in Valencia and I visit several times a week!!)...I'm checking my phone listings because there were a few girls in our NUT class that were Lap Band and one was also in Saugus...I'll fwd her a link to your profile so she can contact you...she's doing great and looks amazing at a year out!!! Thank you so much for your help I appreciate it.  After hearing from a few people on the OH board I am feeling much better about having my surgery with Dr. Q.  Everyone on here is great and so willing to share information with others.
