Well I am not going to make this a novel this morning....I know I had a good day yesterday...I never went back to bed and decided to clean house before my sweetpea Ava came over...and then Jeff and I took her to breakfast where she proceeded to capture the attention of everyone around her...and she was the greatest little kid in the restuarant....ate like a champ...I sure enjoy getting to spend time with her....I miss Hunter and hope to see him soon!

So what are your plans today? Anything fun? I know I am hoping to hop on my motorcyle soon this morning and go putt putty around here. Cannot get out on the main road to downtown because the wash is closed again from the rain the other night....grrrrrrrrrrr! Hope to get some painting done today. I started on a huge watercolor the other day and I want to get another coat of hot pink on the rocking chair I am doing for Ava.

Good morning Janine and Cali!

Glad to hear you slept in Janine! It feels good to get some good rest every now and then.

Today I will take Sammi to our usual Sunday breakfast. then later today, my Mom and I are going to take her swimming for the first time. That ought to be fun.

This coming up week is going to be super busy getting ready for vacation on Friday, so I'm looking for a little down time today too.

Good Morning All:

Janine sounds like your feeling better. Yes my niece came home and is on the mend. My port pain is better, I went to my friends big beautiful Ranch BBQ and was going to stay an hour or so and stayed about 6, we had such a nice time, then it was like, they made me laugh one too many times. Had to get home to the tylenol and Klonopin. I must have been sleeping so hard Jack either tried or didn't want to bother me cause I just woke up on the recliner with a blanket over me. So i'm on my way back..

Hope everyone has plans for a nice Sunday. Talk to you all later.

We had a good Saturday doing chores in the garden and then headed out to buy some clothes for D.... and I picked up a few things too! LOL It is still a WOW moment for me to shop at a regular store and even get things on sale. Got a nice pair of shorts for 3.48!!! Kahki pants on sale for 15, 2 tees for 5 each and a nice polo shirt for 7.50. Can't beat that! Came home and watched Olympic coverage. Go Phelps!!!!

Today I need to mow the lawns and then play with the plants in the garden. Probably a lazy afternoon reading and watching the olympics afterward.

Shout out to all you Inland Empire folks... we have our support meeting coming up soon on Saturday morning the 23rd so mark your calendars. Lu has a great idea for a little fun activity after the meeting so stay tuned!

And I think an IE coffee is overdue and a great idea so let's ink it Janine. How does Saturday morning the 30th sound to everyone? The usual Starbucks at Citrus Plaza on Alabama and Legonia in Redlands?? Say 10am??? Please post if you'd like to join us then!

Well it's almost 8am so I can wake up the late sleepers now with the lawn mower! ROFL

There is no one size fits all answer to that question I'm afraid. Give me a list of the tubers and bulbs you want to plant and I will tell you what I know.
I hope you are gearing up for the fall planting season girlfriend! Fall planting is to us in SoCal what spring planting is for most of the rest of the country. This is the most important time of the year for us. Starts about a month from right now as a matter of fact! WoooooWhoooo... I can't wait. My poor garden is in it's late summer doldrums right now, but still a pleasure to be in!
