Does anybody know of any Northern CA get togethers? Preferably the East Bay, but would be willing to travel to anywhere in the Bay Area really.

We have get togethers in Modesto and Tracy once in a while- also Stockton every so often. If you pick a date and a place some people will usually meet you. I have relatives in Antioch and grew up there (I live 45 minutes from there now) so Antioch is doable for me too. JUst keep your eyes on the message board.
