22-28 year olds

I have a question  I dont mean to offend anyone but I have noticed in the boards people are a bit "mature" than me.  Im 26 years old and I havent seen anyone from my age range talk about their experiences of the surgery. 

In addition, Im in the process of trying to meet new people....I love all your responses but I would like to in addition communicate with people arround my age group.....Do you know what I mean?

Hi Roxie,  You bring up a good subject  Eariler this year someone did an age "poll". I think they took the responces from the Main board and the one Iam on, the VSG forum.  It figured up that the majority age is from 40-50ish with the 20ish folks coming in 2cd, and the 60 plus coming in 3rd....
I have been on OH for 2 yrs. this October, and I do see more and more 20ish folks than I ever have joining up Not an offending question at all...It would be a great idea to have a forum on here just for you youngins!

There's a 20's board here on OH.  There are lots of us!

Hi Roxie!  I completely understand where you are coming from on this subject.  I just joined the site a little while ago and I also find it difficult to meet individuals my age.  I am 25 years old and I have my surgery in September.  I have found the "20's WLS board" to be helpful when asking questions that have to deal with my age and then I still resort to the main group to ask broader questions.  This is the first time I visited the California board.  I am a Army wife and I don't really consider myself a resident of California but thought it might be helpful to meet new people.  I am not full of answers but I would be up for a chat anytime you want!  Have a good one!  Christine

I'm 26 and Post-Op. I post fairly regularly on here and the 20's board. Check out my page. There are quite a few other CA girls around our age. We are up in the Central Valley though, but at least you can read our experiences!!! Good luck!
