I got a call from my surgeons office this afternoon telling me my labs and chest x-ray were fine but my EKG was abnormal. Immediate panic set in and the poor girl on the other end of the phone knew it. I told her she had to find out something before the office closed cuz it would not be a good weekend for me or my family for that matter. Thankgod she worked her majic and had the doctor call over to another doc in the hospital who looked at my EKG and said it was NEGATIVE, meaning there must have been in a glitch or something in the machine and there was no cause for concern. Boy I never prayed so hard in my life and am so grateful things are ok. I worked so hard to get here and couldnt imagine anything getting in my way.  Needless to say 2 xanax's later I am calm and very tired now! LIfe is good

Whew!!!  I had an abnormal EKG, too, 3 days before my surgery.  I had to go in the day before my surgery, while fasting, and do a StressEcho.  It was terrible, but I passed!!!  I didn't know until right afterwards that I was going to even have surgery... very stressful time!!!

I'm so glad things are good and all is well for you!!!!!!!!!
