Not sure what I am doing wrong I am already 1 1/2 yrs out and I was almost at my goal and I think in just about a week I put on almost 4lbs. I have been swimming every day and taking the dogs for a walk. I was eating nuts and cut those out. I have just tryed eating totally different and I am feeling fusterated. Any suggestions on what to do.

please help.

It could be that you are building mucusle (SP) which weigh more than fat. If you go to a club to swim see if they have a scale that will tell you your fat % content or call you doctor and see if they have one where you can stop by and check.

A pound is a pound. one pound of muscle weighs the exact same as 1 pound of fat. the only differance is 1 pound of fat takes up more space.

Have you tried tracking what you are eating?  When I feel "out of control"  I start keeping track of my daily eating.  I use Fit Day (online) but there are several other sites that can help.  This way you can see if it is something you can control or as Jenn said, you might be building muscle.

How old are you? When was your last period?

I guess one way to touch base is to log on to something like dailyplate.com and total your food to see exactly how many calories you are taking in.
