Good Friday Morning Cali and a Happy TGIF to all of you!

I wish I could do a shout out to all of you....but I am still feeling pretty crummy.

I wanted to get the post a rolling....so lets hear it gang...what is on your agenda for the weekend? Hopefully something fun and not all chores and responsibilities...that really sucks! So spill the beans kids and lets hear it!

Quickly want to say....Vicki...I wish you lots of hugs and kisses and I could not be happier for you and your family. Nikki...heal well gf....and Janel I know you will not be reading this probably this morning, but I am praying for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery. Congrats to all who have gotten their dates....how exciting pre-ops in waiting!

I know so many of you have exciting news...the wl this week was nothing less than FABULOUS!!! I am proud of each and everyone of you!

It's time for a weekend gang and ain't that wonderful???

I am sorry to hear you are feeling crappy Janine and I sure hope you get to feeling better in time to enjoy the weekend. Is it still the headaches and nasuea? That's not a pleasent combination at all.

D and I went over to Mom's last night to have dinner and say goodbye to niece Kirsten, her husband Matt and baby Gabriel. We are sad to see them go but happy that we got to spend time with them the past two weeks. It truly was a blessing for Mom to have them around during the week so she wasn't alone after brother Bob's passing. Matt and Kirsten were depressed about having to head home to Pennsylvania today. They really are California kids and miss living here. From the sounds of it they may move back here if they can work it out. Matt now feels he made a mistake giving in to his Mom insisting they move east with his family after they got married and he really sounds like he is ready to cut the apron strings and face his mothers displeasure to be where he really wants to be.... talk is cheap we'll have to see in time.

As for the weekend I am ready, willing and able to have a good one! Lot's to do in the garden, and you all know how much I hate that! LOL Some down time is in order and I know I will be viewing a lot of Olympic coverage over the weekend. My favorite sporting event. All the beautiful athletes in all the events striving for the best. It never fails to inspire me. 

So I'm off to get ready for the day. Hope you and all the Crew have a Fabulous Friday Janine!

Had a little set back. My port seem to swell up. Giving me a lot of pain in L Shoulder and Left side. Doc said they had a hard time placing it and took it out and replaced it, so the bruising processes is gonna be mores sore.

Still prayers/thoughts for my niece  no more news since late last night. I was able to talk to her on the phone, she could barely talk and breath. She is at Alta Bates Hospital, which is nearly a 3 hour drive for us.

If I am up to I will go see her . We did have a party to go to on Saturday, my girl friend that owns a beautiful large ranch has a yearly summer party, she's too funny, this year it's like from that George Clooney Oh Heaven Art Though with the music of the Soggy Bottom boys... It's always catered to the tee.  Anyway I hope I can go at least for a couple of hours and sit and visit, no swimming, but depends on my Niece and my pain.

good morning cali crew,
i'm having an ok morning... and i do have cleaning to do this weekend ... oh well ... i think i'm gonna go out shopping for a little bit though so yippy... i feel so tired lately..i'm day 12 out of surgery.... i haven't lost anymore weight since last week i hope that changes soon... i can't ride my bike until next week so i hope when that happens the weight loss happens... everyone have a great day..

janine - I'm sorry ot hear you are still feeling crappy. I do hope you take a turn for the better and SOON.

No big plans for the weekend. Just the usual errands. We are getting ready to head to Idaho next Friday so some extra planning. Have to get things ready at work to pass on to someone else to take over while I'm gone. Next week at work will be very busy.

TGIF Janine and Cali,

I pray you are feeling better soon.   As for the weekend, my mom is coming to play with Jordyn so mom can work like there is no tomorrow.  I need to do some really good cleaning and since jordyn is on anti nap mode and can move and flip so much it is just hard for me to leave her unattended at all to get much done the way I want.

On a positive note I think I may get to keep my job.  My doctors have written notes for me covering a good portion of the time that I should have been doing classes for medical reasons.  I will do my appeals letter this weekend and get it all faxed on Monday.  Then I just wait.

Definitely gonna try I've MISSED you guys, but my honeys daughter usually comes over the last weekend of the month and this month it's her 14th birthday!  I might sneak away for a minute, we'll see....
