Well if moving wasn't stressful enough we have had added stress from a variety of different areas.  Doug went into the Hospital Monday and was finally released on Friday.  He had stress induced illness and is off work while the doctors regulate his medications to prevent more problems.  He took on everything especially with me being ill and wouldn't let me help and it became too much for him.  If that doesn't show how much he loves me and the kids I don't know what will.  I am truly blessed to have him in our lives and feel like I have won the lottery with him!  With him in the hospital and me not doing well from surgery, I really thought moving was going to be impossible.  However, my dear friends and family came through for us.    My dear friend Kristi and her sister came down and packed my house and watched the kiddos while I was commuting back and forth to visit Doug in the Hospital and communicate with the doctors.  My father-in-law called and told me that he was taking care of the move, all I had to do was find a mover and he would pay the bill.  Kristi found one and it was all set to go.  I really need to not see situations as impossible, but possible with God.  Then the big day for moving came and more problems arose.  The moving company showed up with too small of a truck and tried to say that it was Kristi's error in communicating with them how much stuff I had, which was totally a lie.  The sales person mixed up two orders and tried to bully me into allowing them to make two trips.  UMMMMM NO!  Hemet to Hesperia is 74 miles I am not that stupid.  (come on now I said not THAT stupid).  So here I was without movers and every agency I called was booked till Saturday and I wasnt sure how we were going to get that arranged either.  Once again, my father-in-law came to the rescue and found movers that were available on Friday and would come with a large enough truck to facilitate the move.  However, a new complication arose.... Doug was finally being released Friday morning.  So one of Doug's dear friends Maunza came through for me.  He drove from Rialto to Hemet to watch the kiddos and supervise the move.  He had as much fun as the kiddos did!  (Thanks Uncle Maunza!)  So while I was picking up my Hubby, the move was being taken care of and it looked as if all was behind us.  God in his timing had it all taken care of.  I know that if the move had happened Thursday I probably would have done to much and done more damage to myself.  I already had a 4 inch opening on my right side and a small opening below my belly button that was infected.  But if you know me at all... I am super woman, what it lifting a few boxes gonna hurt.  Well with the move happening Friday and me picking Doug up from the hospital, I was not around for the move.  The move happened without a hitch... well sorta.  All the stuff got moved and nothing broke, EXCEPT the fridge & the washer and dryer.  My old refridgerator gave out.  We plugged it in and it blew... so no refrig, ment the food we had in coolers to move was going to go bad quickly (we had a 5 day cooler so thank goodness for that).  The washer and dryer really simply just fell apart (they were 15 yrs old given to me by some friends).  So we figured the thing we had to take care of was the fridge and we could laundry mat it for a while with laundry till could purchase new ones.   We then got a call from my father-in-law stating he had a washer and dryer for us (he hadn't been told yet it had broke) all we needed to do was pick it up.  So we went to a rental yard and rented a trailer and headed down the hill.  Now mind you, Doug was on strict orders not to drive on the new meds because of possible side effects.  So that meant that I was going to have to drive the SUV with a trailer on the back. (pure panic went through my mind...lol)  But I want you to know that with Doug in the passenger seat, I was a natural even to the point I was backing it up in small areas.  So I guess I will now be driving the boat down to the lake and dropping him off now...lol.  Okay back to the saga.  We ended up going to the Sears outlet store in Ontario to look for a fridge.  This store sells cosmetic damaged appliances for discounted prices.  While looking in the store, we were finding nice fridges for $800, but I really didnt want to spend that much.  Just as I was surrendering to that price we came across a 26 cubic ft stainless steal front and black refridgerator for $497.  There are a few scratches and a small ding on the side (which you don't see and with 5 kiddos in the house ummmmm yeah you get the point).  We picked up the fridge, went to pick up the washer and dryer from Doug's sister Kate where she also gave us a ton of food and other household things and finally headed back up the hill.
Sunday we tried a new church up here and lets just say we are still looking.  It was not at all for us.  Then went out to my inlaws house where we picked up Doug's BBQ, and tool boxes and things that he had stored at his parents' house while he lived in his apartment in Moreno Valley and had a nice dinner with them.  The kiddos have already formed a really good relationship with them already.
Monday we did some organizing after follow up visits for Doug, while I have worked on homework.  Tuesday more follow up appointments and getting paperwork for the kiddos to be registered in school they start Monday (woohooo).  Today I had a follow up appointment where the doctor said it was looking good the infection is lessening and it should be healed completely in about 3 weeks I go back to see him 8/25 so I will keep you posted as things progress.  I have a couple of training days coming up (new teacher stuff) but I don't officially go back to wor****il 8/25 and get students 9/2.  I am really looking forward to a new teaching setting, and reaching a variety of students at this school (Challenger Elementary a sport and fitness school)\
Courtney got her schedule today and she is really excited about the new school (its two blocks from our home).  She gets to take Home economics which she hasnt had an elective for the last two years and it is one she was really hoping to get.  She is also going to try out for the school's soccer team, so I am crossing my fingers she makes it!  The other kiddos will be officially registered tomorrow morning and we will also be enrolling Nathaniel into a before or after school care depending on which class he is placed in.
Our home is absolutely beautiful!  Four bedrooms 2 bath with backyard (not landscaped) and a patio.  I have the bathroom of my dreams, too bad I cant use the tub yet.  Once we get all moved in I will take pictures and send them to you all.  Courtney has her own room and things with her have been much better since we moved up here.  Bree & Lib are sharing but they are two peas in a pod so they are happy.  The boys are sharing as well.  Laundry room and lots of cabinets through out the house to store my STUFF...lol.  Doug's boat fits in the garage straight back so we don't lose a lot of space... not that the kids and I will have access to the garage lol.
As crazy as it has all been it is all coming to an end and things are slowly falling into place.  Thanks a bunch everyone for all that you have done over the last 5 weeks with my surgery, and our move etc.  we could not have done it without you.  God Bless you and I will keep you posted on the church hunt!

Yayyyyyyyy!!! Glad the move went somewhat smoothly. Hope Doug feels better soon. And i hope your infection clears up quickly. As for the church situation, see if there is a Calvary Chapel in the area. I have been a member of Calvary Chapel Rancho Cucamonga for about 10 years and love it. I started out at Calvary Chapel West Covina, then gravitated to Calvary Chapel Rialto, until I finally setted at Rancho Cucamonga. Glad the kiddos are doing well too. =)

Welcome to the High Desert! I don't know about Hemet, but even on the hottest days, most summer evenings are pretty pleasant here.  Enjoy!
