I am going to going back to work at Cigna just after the first of September and need some ideas for brown bags. I can only do so much salads and sandwiches, I refuse to each ready made as they are high in sodium. Anty help would be great.

Fish is always good.

Tuna you can make anyway and eat with a salad or chips or something.

I love my salmon pattys.

Thanks Lu. I have maybe cooked a meal a week since April 2007 for dinner and other wise it is whatever we grab from fridge. My mind is drawing blanks as to what sounds good and easy. Thanks again.

Jenn,
I also do egg mockmuffins for breakfast.  I also like chili.  I will cook a few peices of chicken thighs.  I hate to tell you that I do alot of planning and bring lunchy almost everyday.  I do salads with chicken on them or with tuna.  One of my other favorites is some chicken or tuna ( i will either put mayo on my tuna or balsamic vinegar. Then I have some edemmame too.  Cheese sticks for snacks.
Good Luck Jenn.

Thanks Liz. Breakfast I have no problem with it just lunch and dinner. I have eaten so many salads-tuna,cobb,chef,crab, chicken, turkey ect over the last 15 months that that type a food is boring. But now I am more interested in doing some type of cooking that with work I will want to have something different and not boxed and frozen and not fast food as we don't eat at those places.

Hey Jenn, I dont know but I think you have the best Chinese resturant in Visalia "Wah Wuh" at the corner of Akers and Walnut shopping center, the owner there knows I had the gastric bypass and makes me shrimp and asparagus, or chicken or beef broccolli that  last for three meals, while I am in town every week.  If you like chinese, I love it since surgery and I never get rice anymore. Other wise my little lunch cooler always has nonfat cottage cheese and fresh fruit from the local fruit stands down there. I am on the road everyday from Bakersfiled to Redding, always stay in Visalia one night a week, just love that town!

Yes I love Wah Wuh it is great. We eat there once a month. When you are in town let me know and we can arrange for coffee or something. If we have notice I can put it out on the boards as well. Jenn
