Good Morning Thursday Morning Cali
Good Morning Cali...a quick type by as I slept the night. I have not been feeling well. Have had headaches to the point of throwing up and I just pooped out!
So one more day until Friday...YAY for all you people who are working so hard. Try and stay cool all you So Cal people as it is gearing up to be really hot again!
I think people did well on the WWW. Steve please enlightening us! And to all of you who are working you tool...rock on and keep up the hard work...even you pre ops who are doing your liquid diets and option classes...rock on!
I hope you newly post-ops hang in there and the people who are going into surgery...hang in there...it all gets better!
Nikki...I know you are sore baby girl, but it will get better really soon....it hurts, but it is a quick heal in the grand scheme of things!
Katt I just wanna say...you are going to be dangerous when you get that cast off!

Yes, I am getting ready for vacay!!! Can't wait.
I think my Surgeon's office is avoiding me now. Maybe I have been too much of a pain in the rear area. Obesity Law has said I qualify for a free appeal through Lap Band (that is if they have room for 1 more) and I have emailed twice with the email from OL and not gotten any response. I will try to be patient...
I've been getting to know some of the people on the Illinois forum who have the same insurance as I do and asking what the big secret is to get approved......I've gotten some great advice and met some very nice people while I'm at it! BCBSIL is still just one of the toughest for approvals........you need to follow their guidelines to a "T" and when they change them you need to follow them to a "T" again!

Awesome, I'm so glad OL is helping you. Kelly and Walter are awesome! I learned so much about the appeals process by talking to others who had gone before me, I'm glad you found help on the Illinois board.

Good Morning Calif....
WOW the week is flying by.
We have been sooo busy at work, that Im dead to the world by the time I get home. Monday I worked 16 hours. and pasted out when I got home. But had to be up early to run and pick some bird cages for Kevin, then go to my doc appointment and get to Kevin work before 11 to give them to him. When I got home, I was lazy on the sofa for a couple of hours, then washed some clothes, and put them away.
Sherrise and I went out to dinner to this little place right up the street. We both got sick. UGH!! We have been then many times in the past and never had this problem before. I was sick before we left and by the time she got me home she sick. Not a fun time. I was feeling much better by about 9 yesterday morning, so I went golfing. LOL When I got home, I shaved Fresser, and gave her a bath, then took her for a walk, to dry. After that, I took my shower and then spent the rest of the evening relaxing.
OF too work today, but only for 8 hours. (today is my short day) I don't want to get sick and I feel like Im getting a cold. Summer colds suck big time.

Yesterday was my first day back to work
and I have to say it kicked my butt. I actually left 2 hours early. Came straight home and fell asleep. I hope today gets better. I just can't afford to stay home any longer.I hope everyone has a great day.

So, Good Morning Janine and Crew.... it is Thursday and I hear the TGIF train coming down the tracks, WoooooWhoooo! My niece Kirsten and her little family leave to head home to Pennsylvania tomorrow morning so we are having a last get together at Moms for dinner tonight. Wish things had been different for their vacation here but it is what it is and it has been great to have her here. I really think it has been very good for Mom as they have spent almost every day of their two week vacation with her and so she hasn't been alone to brood too much over Bobs passing.
Need to get my butt in gear and prepare for the day. Hope you and all the Cali Crew have a Terrific Thursday Janine!

I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well Janine and my thoughts are with you that it passes quickly.
The dentist was ok. my mouth a bit sore today. The good part is he's generous with the novacaine and is talented with the needle. I waited way to long to go and had 4 cavities. He did 2 last week, one yesterday then the last one will be in 2 weeks. YIKES! Today is physical therapy to see if it is muscles in my back causing my pain. Keeping my fingers crossed it goes well. I don't think that's what it is but I'm keeping an open mind.
Only one more week of work for me then its time for vacation! Yay. We're leaving next friday to go to Idaho to see my other daughter. Can't wait!

Not much going on here - yesterday I spent some time at the pool then came home and finally got all the pictures hung up on the freshly painted wall - YEAH.
Today I am going shopping with a friend so she can look for a dress forher son's wedding.....but thats about it.
Oh and by the way - I forgot to post yesterday - I lost .8 lbs - Steve can you add that to the total.
My cold is getting better - and yes, summer colds just suck.
Well time to go read the paper and have a cup of coffee....
