NEEDHELP FINDING A SURGEON...PLEEEESE!!!

hi...im in desprate need of finding a surgeon in the california area...right now price plays a big factor in who i decide to go to...and after that...everything else...so if you can help that would be great....so tell me about ur experince...cost...in comlications....etc...etc...thankx

If CA is out of your budget due to lack of insurance etc. you may want to consider TJ Mexico. There are two very well known surgeons there that a number of OH members have had their surgery by.

If you have to pay yourself I would recommend TJ.  A friend went down there on a Thursday in May, had her surgery on Monday and was home by the next Thursday.  Her total with all the tests, labs and four  docs in surgery was around $15,000 but she had many physical problems and no insurance.  She ha lost about 60 lbs. to date.  I am sure if you are healthier the proice would be lower. I will have Rny later this month in Clovis.  My insurance gave me a chose of two surgeons and will pick up mostof the expenses.  Good luck  Helga

What kind of surgery do you want? RnY, Lap Band, Sleeve, DS? There are a lot of docs in the SF Bay area, if you can't find someone in the Fresno area.

What type of surgery are you wanting to have?  I've had both my Lap Band and my plastic surgery in Tijuana.  Both were great surgeons and I had great results.
