For those of you interested in the duodenal switch weight loss procedure, or those seeking a revision to the DS, the next get together of the Southern California Area DSers (SCADS) is going to be Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11:30am.

We will be having lunch at Zendejas Mexican Restaurant located at 665 W. Arrow Hwy.,  San Dimas, CA  91773   www.zendejasmexicanrestaurant.com

We will be celebrating the upcoming (soon) surgeries of a couple of our members.  Let's get together to support them as they set off to their new and healthier life.

Come one, come all.  We always have a great time.  This is open to anybody who has had a DS, is considering getting a DS,  wants to know more about the DS, and your friends and family.

Please drop me a line to let me know how many are coming so that I can give the restaurant a head count.

Looking forward to seeing you....

I so wished I lived closer.

'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid insideways ... half a bottle of vodka in one hand ... a fat cigar in the other... a body thoroughly used up and totally worn out ... and screaming;'whooooohooooo what a ride'!'  HW/251 SW/242 CW/134 GW/140  WOW!! 117# Gone

Leslie,

Thanks for posting this here.

For those who might be interested, I thought I'd mention that this is not an orientation or formal informational seminar but rather just a bunch of DSers (and friends) getting together for a fun time.  It's a good chance to meet some post-ops (and pre-ops) face to face and ask any and all questions you might have.  Or, just come have lunch.
